They especially shined when it came to winter sports because any contact with the snow would previously give me wet, cold hands. There is no such thing with these with the combination of GoreTex and with the cuffs going up so high on my arm and being adjustable, wet hands and arms are a thing of the past. There are a number of handy features as well with finger holds on the outside of ring fingers make the gloves easy to remove even while gloved. The retention cuffs do their job well. I would recommend these for someone looking for a nice pair of gloves that wants to keep their hands warm and dry. They outperform everything else at their price point.

The most extreme weather I used them in was snowshoeing in- 25- 28 °F with a good 10- 15 mph wind. The mittens were so warm that at times I had to remove them so my hands could cool off. Easy on and off and if you want to tighten them up they have an excellent cuff velcro. Wear them under my jacket cuffs and kept all the snow out. Just got these delivered… build quality is very good. The leather and materials are high quality, and stitching appears solid. I like the tight wrist closure to fit under a jacket cuff. It will definitely keep snow out, and the Velcro patch is large. One important note on sizing: these are sized as “ unisex ”, not Men ’s or Women ’s. This means the Large size I ordered is a bit smaller than a Men ’s Large, and possibly bigger than a Women ’s Large. I have ordered other models of OR gloves in Men ’s Large, but these are a little tight on me. The Team gloves are the nicest 3 finger glove I 've owned. The overall build is top notch with a super soft and comfortable inner liner. The index finger( which can still get cold on 3 finger) seems to have more insulation around it. The reinforced palm is a nice feature. The leather just looks and feels to be a notch above other brands. I also like that OR included the leash. I would recommend ordering the size you typically wear. I normally wear size large and these fit perfectly in large.

I most often use them as driving gloves, and they have prevented the brown age spots that come with exposure to too much sun while driving. I normally get gloves of another brand and while those are great for cold winter weather, the light use gloves I get from them were n't that great so I 'd be on the lookout for another pair and came across these in store. What these are good for is cool weather and general use. The gloves fit my hands well and do n't have the odd long finger length that I get with most other gloves. These are great for protecting and keeping my hands warm and look good. I use them for quick dog walks and sitting at Fall and Winter soccer games watching my kid. What they 're not good for is winter weather. Here in NC we 've been getting some pretty cold temps of late and my finger tips will start getting cold and these are not water proof. The features I really like:- they have the pointer fingers on the gloves that work on your phone touch screen- the palm grips are great- pull on loops located on the wrist to help get the gloves on.

Used these gloves for 1 day between 14 and 28 deg F with windgusts and snow machines on making icy and windy conditions for a much lower feels like temp. First off, the GoreTex in these gloves holds up to its reputation, the ice/snow from the snow machines stuck to everything and ev eventually would melt but my gloves on the inside didnt feel wet at all even once. Wore these without the liner and they are comfortable, but not that warm. My hands were cold but not super uncomfortably cold by lunch without the liner in. Put the liner in after going back out and it made a world of difference. My hands stayed warm the rest of the day even after the sun went down and temperature dropped significantly. After a full day of use on the slopes carrying ski poles most of the time, there is no sign of any use on these gloves and i am hopeful they keep holding up for me. They were fairly expensive at full price, but seem to be worth it so far.

The Patrol gloves feel like a toned down version of the Guide gloves that I 've used extensively. The biggest difference is the shorter gauntlet and the insulation only covering the palm, where the insulated inner runs down over the wrist into the gauntlet on the Guides. Because of those differences the mobility is a bit better with the Patrol, they 're a less bulky/more packable and are n't quite as warm as the Guides.

Absolutely love these gloves for mahy reasons. Firstly, the glove has an amazing fit. While it is easy to get on with the straps to help it is a snug fit that allows me to manouever very well with them. Additionally, the gloves are not so big and padded that I ca n't do much with my hands, however, they still keep my hands warm. My only complaint would be that it is really difficult to use my phone despite the fingertip specifically meant for using the phone. Would highly recommend these gloves.

These gloves are a pair of the best gloves I 've worn, and I 've gone through a lot of gloves over the years. What stood out to me are two things; warmth and dryness. While hiking or training with search and rescue( volunteer) I often have my gloves on and off for tasks as well as taking pictures during hikes, what strikes me with these is that they feel dry and warm every time I put them back on after the task or picture!

Not warm enough for standing around ice- fishing in New England. They are very durable and well- made. I have the black pair and have used them twice. I 'm a truck driver that pulls tankers and I have to unload the tanker myself so that means pulling hoses and standing outside with the truck trailer for 2 to 4 hours. So far the coldest it's been but I 've unloaded it's about 13 ° and they have done really well so far. The thumb and index finger probably get the warmest, but overall the whole hand is pretty warm. It's very important. I think to turn them on in the truck first and let him get warm then go outside with them and they maintain very well. So far as winter comes it will get colder especially in the northern Nevada and we will see how that goes.

My hands always go numb from the cold below 15 degrees. I ’ ve tried top tier mittens and wool liners to no avail. With these mittens I skied all day at 10 degrees and two breaks and kept my hands warm. I used medium and low settings most of the time and still had half the battery left at the end of the day. I can ’ t wait to go again this week and see how they do in near zero temperatures. Definitely worth the price.

These really help keep my hands warm. You have to charge them every time you use them though…the battery doesn ’ t last long if you set them on medium or high.

Just what my cold fingers ordered! I have Raynaud ’s and have tried everything with no luck. These are great with a wool glove liner and I have happy fingers. Two warn thumbs up! I ’ ve tried gloves and they only warmed the top portion of my fingers and not the ends. Gloves never fit right. Mittens are fantastic.
