You can `` boonie '' it and scrunch the brim to get that sun that's angled to the side or shove it in your pack/pocket. Take it out and a hard shake will get the brim back. It looks good, it does everything you need and nothing you do n't need. I love the way this hat looks and fits. I have a pretty small head and it has quick easy adjustments. The adjustments are so good that I ride to the beach and back home on my motorcycle without this thing flying off. When I get to the beach and ready to fish I can loosen it in less than a second. It's sun gear so the most important thing is the protection. it's still spring here in Florida but it's already up to 80s on a regular and the day in the photograph was exactly that. The hat works great for blocking the sun and it also does a pretty good job keeping you cool. The brim is stiff enough to stay out flat for coverage but soft enough to still look good. Used it all last summer and heading into this year i 'm relying on it again. Caught my first pompano of the year and the photograph came out great so I figured i 'd actually write a review.

Exactly what I needed! I have one hat that is similar to this, but I am wearing it in every single outdoor photo so I wanted another for variety. Then THIS hat came along that ’s reversible!! I love it! It is exactly what I was looking for, but better! I love that it has a removable strap. It ’s there when I need it, but on a calm weather day I can remove it. With my other hat I would tuck the strap up inside, which was a bit annoying. This is the perfect hat for me, and now that it is reversible I have a little more variety.

I bought this hat specifically to store in my car, because one never knows when you might have to stand out in the sun for an extended period of time. I go on birdwatching trips, and on a bird- watching Safari, we were advised to be sure the hat we wore would n't obstruct the view of others in the vehicle, so I chose this hat. I have three of these hats. I keep one in the car and one in my backpack so I always have it on hand. I am a redhead and these do the best job of protecting my neck, scalp, and face of any hat I have owned. I also love the folding brim so it can go in a pocket.
