It's not too heavy that you ca n't wear it in 60 or low 70 degree weather but it is warm enough that you can wear this into the low 40s and be comfortable. The material has a textured outer layer that adds a styled flair but the inside has a sheer smooth lined layer so you do n't feel the texture on your skin.
