I absolutely adore the Rain Defender exterior fabric. Will Rain Defender keep me dry in a cloud burst rain storm? Nope! However I am often required to work outside when it is heavily misting, snowing and sleeting. I have a number of shirts and jackets with a sherpa lining. So yeah, full disclosure and as I alluded to in the title, I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother. I was just hoping that it was the nicest hoodie Nike made, and between him being thrilled with it, and my evaluation of it when I got it in the mail, that may very well be true. He wore it to the gym the day after Christmas, and sent me a text thanking me again. The material felt super nice and well constructed. Is it worth the full$ 120? Maybe not, but I had a coupon and a reward that brought it down a decent bit, and I felt it was then worth it. As for sizing, I typically go between S and M, and he's a little bigger than me and wanted an L, and it seemed to fit perfect on him, so there's that.
