[ Normally I would wear a women's small/medium and ended up with a men's small in the trail hoodie. It ended up to be the perfect relaxed fit. Living in Florida, the material is perfect as it is not overwhelmingly warming. I found it to be just the right hoodie for morning and evening runs as its moisture- wicking too. I love the designs on the strings and think it really makes it more interesting versus just a solid color string. On to more recent times when I first purchased Ten Thousand shorts and immediately became a fan; the offer of a hoody presented itself. The maroon color and fit on the models drew me in. Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. Otherwise, warm and worth the upgrade.

I was n't sure what to expect, other than possibly a standard feel of a hoodie. But, when it was delivered, in a very timely fashion, I could n't believe the heft of the hoodie. The thumb loops are very helpful when layering with additional insulating layers and the zipper helps dump heat when you need to. Very light weight. Packing compressed it a lot and it took a couple days for it to expand out. My first time wearing it was in 30 degrees and it kept me very warm. I am 5' 6 '' and a large was a good fit for me, especially for arm length. I am a little concerned about longevity because of how light weight it is, but time will tell on that. Material and stitching are top notch and the jacket is very comfortable to wear. I HATE the feeling of gortex and this has more of silky feel inside and out, which is perfect. For a general use winter jacket this is perfect.

This jacket exceeded my expectations. This specific Summit Series puffer jacket is a bit more `` puffier '' than other down puffer jackets. It's very warm and can be worn as a mid layer or by itself.

[ The hoodie is a great fit, with the size as expected- the length of the hoodie looks really good. The quality of the material is excellent and washes really well, not losing its shape/ fit( it has been through 3 washes at time of washing). I really like the design which is simplistic yet striking using a smart design for the Nike logo. The hoodie can be worn in a variety of settings, either playing sports, going to the gym or socially- it was great for a long flight and very comfortable while it has also been worn at the gym and doesn ’ t prevent any movement etc.

[ This hoodie has a great fit, very boxy and shorter in the body with the arms a regular fit. Perfect for someone more petite like my girlfriend. She loves how it ’s thin enough to use when exercising but still warm and comfortable when you ’ re not. It ’s also been good for wearing as an extra layer if needed in the warmer months. At first the inside, while soft, was somewhat scratchy at first, but after being worn for a short amount of time it gets more plush and continues to do so with more wear. It ’s a really simple design with only a small tennis inspired logo, very clean. All in all, the perfect basic hoodie for any occasion and any weather!

[ First impressions of this hoodie after taking it out of the packaging where I was really happy, the design is simple with just a small Nike symbol, but I love it as it will go with everything. The material is perfect for the spring time, not too thick and not too thin, it ’s a really lovely length too, it sits just below my hips, and the feel of the material is really nice too. I love how it ’s one big pocket, perfect for putting your phone etc in.

[ The Nike court hoody is great for in the gym, on the court and everyday use. The hoody had a nice relaxed fix, it ’s not oversized but it does allow for a bit of movement when training. As it a relaxed fit you ’ ll also be able to wear something underneath when it gets cold out. In addition to its comfort, it looks great! I ’ m not a fan of overly fussy clothes so the minimal design and small logo suited me and isn ’ t in your face. It ’s classy and smart. Overall it ’s a great choice for anyone looking for comfy, stylish and performance orientated hoody. It is perfect for the gym or running errands around town. I love it.

This pack- down hoodie meets all the requirements. Firstly, the craftsmanship is impeccable. I am 5 ’ 6 ” athletic- built and wear a large size, and I can confirm that it is true to size. I appreciate its packability and versatility, as it can be worn with a base layer or a shell on top, enabling it to withstand temperatures as low as the single digits. I ordered the flame orange/uni blue color, which is visually appealing and would be a worthwhile purchase before it sells out. Upon receiving the hoodie, I applied Nikwax Down Wash and Down Proof to achieve a DWR finish. I have attached pictures for your reference.

This puffy is best used for around 0 C to 5 C in dry weather, in sub zero temps it may not be warm enough. The fabric is soft and comfy to touch with a nice fleece lining on chin and neck area to keep that area warm and also helps if you have a beard. I 'm about 170 cm, 66 kg and a small fit too tight in the chest and armpits, medium fits well relaxed with room to layer, the sleeves are just a bit long. The hood and collar have nice coverage to keep head and neck warm. Personally, I do n't mind the yellow shoelace, it does n't get in the way much. A great feature is the double zipper which allows you to vent heat without taking the jacket off.

I live in the Western mountains of Maine beside the White Mountain National Forest. We get spooky weather here. It was a brittle- 10° when I got up at 0530. I threw my Expedition Pack Down Hoodie on over just a merino wool base layer. Something I wear 24/7 in the winter here. I was quite comfortable outside. I 'm not going to lie, my face stung from the cold. A quick pull, a tug or two here and there and voila! Now it was tolerable which is enough! I 'm 69. I 've been through a few jackets in my lifetime. I can tell within 5 minutes whether a jacket will do the job and stand up to wear. This was a treat to myself. I have gone through so many winters with barely adequate clothing. This year I finally figured out how to dress. This jacket is superb. It handled some rather high wind the other day better than I expected. I HATE feeling that cold wind blow right through a jacket! Look, I found myself just wanting to go for a walk the other day just so I could wear it! I love the length in the back. Not keeping your butt covered is asking for trouble! Love the arm length which SHOULD be a tad longer than normal to ensure no `` pull up '' around your wrists. Love way you can pull this jacket around your body. Everything is adjusted just for me! Any jacket like this really shines with proper layer material. It's no secret but, just go with wool. Period. A wool base layer( I go with the thickest I can find) is the key. I quite often wear just my wool base layer for a shirt. Job well done Fjallraven!

Excellent addition to my daily use and outdoor recreation clothing gear. The jacket packs down quickly to about the size of a 500 mL water bottle. The Ghost Whisper UL has become a key piece of layering gear for mountaineering, hikes, and just around town. Super light, comfortable, warm, and stylish. Checks all the boxes. If MH makes a non- hooded version of the 1000 fill, I would absolutely buy that as well.

Awesome piece of gear. It ’s lighter than a mouse fart, but warm as a Marshall pufffy combined. This jacket was purchased with climbing Kilimanjaro in mind and will be bringing it with in January. The only other puffy that compares is the whisperer/2 which trades a little down loft for a slightly tougher shell fabric.
