The fabric has tons of stretch for comfort and ease during a workout, but is a good thickness( not as thick as a fleece and not as thin as leggings) and matte and therefore very flattering. The collar sits nicely upright with it unzipped. Only thing I noticed that I didn ’ t love is the small neck hole. If you have makeup on and a ponytail( and a big head like I do!) it ’s a snug squeeze and you ’ ll either smudge makeup on the inside of the shirt or you ’ ll mess up your hair if you don ’ t carefully pull it on.
