The pockets easily fit my hands or my everyday essentials( phone, wallet, keys). There is a small Swoosh logo that ’s embroidered over the chest. This branding is minimal, and it allows for me to pair the jacket with various pieces in my wardrobe, whether I ’ m going for a casual or a bit of a dressier look. I ’ m on the petite side and typically wear a medium in Nike tops. I would recommend sizing down in this jacket, due to its oversized fit. I would prefer zippers over snaps for the side pockets, just for that extra security for my small items when I ’ m out and about. I live in New England, so this puffer jacket will certainly keep me warm and cozy this upcoming winter! I know I ’ ll be protected against the winter conditions with this water repellent jacket. I really love this coat and all the small features that make it so nice. I love all the pockets, it actually fits a 1L water bottle. I love the little fleece details in the hood, at your face, and in the hand pockets. It ’s very warm, and I can choose to layer( or not) and still be warm. I kept my normal size small due to my broader shoulders and wanting it to be able to wear a sweater without my shoulders feeling restricted. It definitely is boxy, but I don ’ t pick coats based on that, but all the other features like staying warm. I really like how big the hood is, it actually fits both my head and a ski helmet, which is nice. I also love the length of the coat and how it ’s slightly longer than my waist. I appreciate the double zipper, when I get into the car I ’ ll unzip the bottom a touch so it ’s looser which makes any tightness when sitting down go away.

Love, love, love this jacket. I am that girl who is always freezing, especially if it's windy I do n't stand a chance. Well this jacket has been a lifesaver, got me through- 20F weather with no problem, it blocks the wind and moisture. The pockets at mid level, that are fleece lined, are a blessing. I did a lot of research before buying this coat and I do n't regret it. Now it may not be as form fitting as one might want but honestly when you are warm in dead of winter, who cares. The red color is eye- catching, and it's incredibly comfortable and flexible, not stiff or heavy even in the coldest temperatures. Living in the Northeast, I 'm often outside in freezing weather, and this jacket keeps me warm without feeling bulky. After a couple of years, it still looks great, and I get tons of compliments on it. Bought this recently, a week old review. Shipping was quick and efficient. With regards to the jacket, it keeps you warm and cosy even when there is a gust. Looks a bit handful but performs like a workhorse. The pockets are deep and well- thought positions. The hand pockets with warm liners are cosy when you forgot your gloves. The Hood is padded and adjustable so this eliminates the need for a beanie until unless is heavy gust or snow. There is enough space for both beanie and glove in case you choose to wear them with you along with the jacket. The secret pocket inside the chest is a good place for either mobile, cards, car keys or something valuable. A small elastic compartment in the outer chest pocket is for something like a go- to bag to keep keys secure and have quick access to. Overall build quality is excellent. Being used other fjallraven products longevity of their products is unparalleled. The arm length is a bit larger for me, Please take a measurement of yourself with all the inner layers( i. e- day to day clothing which you might be wearing inside the coat).

I was looking for a very warm, every day jacket. I usually buy ski gear type stuff.... something that you need to layer up and stay active to keep warm in. I was finally ready to buy a jacket that I could stay warm in when I was just standing around. After reading some of the reviews I was afraid that this was not the jacket I was looking for. I expected it not to be warm enough. I was wrong. This jacket is super warm. In 23° F with the wind and snow blowing, it's toasty warm with just a t shirt and flannel underneath. The design is awesome too. The hood is nice, there are pockets everywhere, it fits great, not too baggy, not too tight and it feels super durable while looking good for pretty much any occasion. I also tried a Singi wool padded parka thinking the Skogso would n't be warm enough. The Singi is amazingly warm but is overkill for daily wear where I live( our cold days are usually 0° to 25+° F). The Singi would be great for standing around in sub 0°F weather but is too bulky to wear every day for me.

I use this jacket as my daily driver for Ohio winters, where temperatures can sit right around the freezing point or drop into deep freeze throughout a single day. So far it has performed admirably in rain, snow, sleet, and whatever else it might chuck down at us poor midwesterners. I 'd advise picking up some Greenland wax and applying a couple coats at the beginning of winter, it improves an already good wind resistance and makes the G- 1000 practically waterproof. I 've been very impressed and plan to keep the jacket for a very long time. I use the jacket daily for walking the dog in any and all weather, and would n't hesitate to take it snowboarding, winter trekking, or commuting by bike. I did have one issue where the hem cinch stop popped off leaving the flex cord dangling out of the bottom of the jacket, but found it easy to repair since the cord is routed into the inner pockets. I just cut the frayed end and put the stop back on. Looks like it came brand new.

LOVE this jacket! I 'm 6' 2 and bought XL for extra movement and layering when snowboarding. Pros: The synthetic fill is the best I 've ever felt, I honestly thought it was down fill. I love that it stays warm and holds its lofty puffiness when in wet snow conditions. My other Sitka down jacket loses its loft quickly in the arms and back when I start perspiring from a morning of hiking or snowboarding. But's it's so soft a cozy. I often just wear a t- shirt or thin base layer under it if I 'm just staring around a camp fire. It's very warm and the hand and chin backings are super soft. Cons: My only complaint is that it does n't have a well placed hood draw string for windy conditions. The single draw string on the hood is more a retention string for side to side movement of your head. And the outer fabric is very delicate, I know its gon na snag and tear on a tree branch one of these days.... I personally wish it was a little bit thicker like on my wife's Expedition down jacket.

I 've had my RG foray for a little over 3 years and it's been pretty good to me. I 've mostly worn the puffer by itself in cool weather. There's little wind resistance to it, so be warned. Otherwise it's a good standalone layer on even the coldest days for short exposure times. I 've had to wear the jacket on several rainy days, and the full system during an Easter trip to the UK in '23. Scotland, Wales, and northern England are n't known for great weather in March and this trip was no exception. We endured near constant wind and periodic rain& sleet. When we went to London it rained for several hours one day and we were in it at its hardest. The fabric shed water well without getting soaked, as I 'd expect from OR. All in all, it's a good buy.

This jacket is one of the best quality ski jackets on the market now. I would say it's comparable to Helly Hansen's Alphelia jacket in terms of fit and features but for a lower price point. It even has a similar fit to the Arc'teryx jackets if you cinch the waistline in and tuck it. You can get away with wearing no layers underneath this jacket in 30F weather. I 've already gotten many compliments and will be wearing this to back to back ski trips in Vermont and Colorado! I agree with other reviews that a snow helmet can not fit underneath the hood, but that is NOT a con for me as wearing a hood while skiing usually obstructs my view anyway.

[ Overall, I think this Prima Puffer is great and would recommend it to anyone consider giving it a try. It ’s extremely comfortable, and I see myself being totally warm on the coldest of winter day. The material inside is soft while still being very insulated. The fit is certainly baggier than standard sizes, which is part of the design rather than being a flaw. While stylistically I personally prefer more fitted pieces, that doesn ’ t take away from the quality of the Prima Puffer whatsoever; there are tons of people who will prefer the baggier fit. You can see from the profile photo the logistics of the hood; it ’s very large and roomy. It ’ d be a really good hood if I had my hair done in a glamorous updo or needed to preserve the style while still wanting/needing a hood.. this one would be great for that since it ’s so large.

[ Honestly when I tried this jacket on for the first time I was n't sure if I could pull this look off. I am approximately 5' 3 '' and 110 pounds and this jacket is very fluffy and has an oversized look. The first time I tried this jacket on I fell immediately in love with the hoodie. This hoodie is big, looks amazing and is so comfortable. The whole jacket is super comfortable and very well made. This is my first Nike jacket and I am impressed with the quality. The details are on point and I really like the overall style. I just love the wide trim of the hoodie that also hides the zipper and provides two additional buttons to close the jacket. One button is on the upper end of the zipper and the other on the lower end. The hoodie also has a small white embroidered Nike logo on one side and a bigger stitched- in logo on the back that adds just the right amount of branding. There are a lot of black on black Nike logos on the inside of the jacket but the logos on the outside are more subtle. You can adjust the fit of the jacket by tightening it on the bottom or you can tighten the hoodie on both ends. There are also two outside pockets with zippers located on the front of each side of the jacket. Each pocket has a very soft inner lining that feels warm and comfortable. On the inside you will find a smaller inside pocket that has one snap button to close it. If I have to complain about one thing it would be that the zipper pulls are very small and might be a little bit harder to handle if you wear gloves. I will just add a little pull string to make it easier for me to use so it is not a big deal for me. What really impressed me is how warm this jacket is! The jacket is made out of Nike Therma- Fit technology and promises to manage your natural heat to keep you warm. I own many jackets but I have never felt my body warm up so quickly as with this jacket. I am amazed how warm this jacket keeps me and can not wait to take it out during the colder season. We are an outdoor family and love to spend time in the snow. With a young kid you will find me outside any and every day and I already know that this jacket will be my new favorite for any kind of winter activity.

[ This Nike Prema Puffer Jacket is so comfortable and so warm. The look is very stylish and can be dressed up or down. You know it's Nike, the logo is on the hood, the lining and embossed on the back. The pockets on the outside are deep and useful. There is a drawstring at the waist for a more snug fit. The material is durable and thej jacket itself is very fashionable.

Got this jacket today, looks pretty good! Quality is great! I love those side pockets! I 'm going to use it as everyday mild winter down jacket. The only thing: I see it's mentioned that 6' 1 is size M, but I would consider to choose L. M will fit, but imagine if you will want to put on a sweater under the jacket? It can be really tight.

I bought this at the employee store. The shell feels like it has more texture and feels durable. Those things were obvious. The size is nice and roomy without being too bulky, It fits just right. I ca n't speak of cold winters just yet, but layering this with something under would be enough for me. The color is true to the picture. It has some good pocket verity.( small on the front, regular pockets on the side, and pockets on the inside. This is good jacket overall. Only way they could improve on this jacket is if they went with 700 fill.
