I got this jacket to wear on early morning and late night walks with my dog. I got it in white so that I am visible to people driving. So far, it seems to helping. People actually stop for me at the crosswalks now. It is the perfect weight for brisk walking with temps in the 40's. I just wear a lightweight wool long sleeve shirt under it. This is my second pair. They are really cute! This pair fits as did my others and these have one snap in the back to hold the liner where my previous pair had snaps on either side which were actually a nuisance, so good deal. My only issue is that this pair doesn ’ t have a neoprene “ tongue ” across the top of the liner. The neoprene piece made sliding your foot in easier. Hope they last because they are warm and comfy. They are NOT wide so if you need that these won ’ t work. On sale it ’s a good value.

These boots are super durable. I ’ ve had mine for at least 7 years and they will probably last me another decade at least. These are better suited for outdoor activities; when I wear these to run errands, my feet tend to overheat because the shoes are so well insulated. The one downside is that these are ridiculously heavy – it ’s like wearing ankle weights for workouts. I bought these mittens for a snowshoeing trip that ended up being very windy and very cold. Despite the less than ideal conditions, my hands stayed toasty warm the entire trip. These mittens are very lightweight, but kept the wind out very well. There were even a few times along the trail were I had to take them off for a few seconds because my hands we too hot! They also seem to be sufficiently waterproof as I had no issues with water getting in or soggy mittens. The leather palms are also decently grippy which was a pleasant surprise. My only minor complaints are less than ideal dexterity( though that is to be expected with mittens) and there is n't a clip included to keep the mittens together when not in use. Overall these are wonderfully warm mittens and well worth the price!

[ I finally broke down to buy proper winter mittens and chose these as I love my Hestra ski gloves. They are soft and warm, keeping my fingers relatively comfortable in 5 degree Wisconsin weather. They are a bit bulky, but I can still shove them in the pockets of my heavy winter jacket. They work well for sledding, walking around, etc. I would prefer a slightly longer, larger wrist so they can go up over the jacket to keep snow from getting in. But otherwise I am very pleased. They are certainly better than anything I have owned thus far( save for my Hestra ski gloves) for serious winter outdoor time.

Amazing features- snow skirt, thumb cut outs, water proof and wind proof, zippers up to my chin, well insulated, and, multiple pockets. This jacket is one of the best quality ski jackets on the market now. I would say it's comparable to Helly Hansen's Alphelia jacket in terms of fit and features but for a lower price point. It even has a similar fit to the Arc'teryx jackets if you cinch the waistline in and tuck it. You can get away with wearing no layers underneath this jacket in 30F weather. I 've already gotten many compliments and will be wearing this to back to back ski trips in Vermont and Colorado! While stylistically I personally prefer more fitted pieces, that doesn ’ t take away from the quality of the Prima Puffer whatsoever; there are tons of people who will prefer the baggier fit. You can see from the profile photo the logistics of the hood; it ’s very large and roomy. It ’ d be a really good hood if I had my hair done in a glamorous updo or needed to preserve the style while still wanting/needing a hood.. this one would be great for that since it ’s so large.

[ Honestly when I tried this jacket on for the first time I was n't sure if I could pull this look off. I am approximately 5' 3 '' and 110 pounds and this jacket is very fluffy and has an oversized look. The first time I tried this jacket on I fell immediately in love with the hoodie. This hoodie is big, looks amazing and is so comfortable. The whole jacket is super comfortable and very well made. This is my first Nike jacket and I am impressed with the quality. The details are on point and I really like the overall style. I just love the wide trim of the hoodie that also hides the zipper and provides two additional buttons to close the jacket. One button is on the upper end of the zipper and the other on the lower end. The hoodie also has a small white embroidered Nike logo on one side and a bigger stitched- in logo on the back that adds just the right amount of branding. There are a lot of black on black Nike logos on the inside of the jacket but the logos on the outside are more subtle. You can adjust the fit of the jacket by tightening it on the bottom or you can tighten the hoodie on both ends. There are also two outside pockets with zippers located on the front of each side of the jacket. Each pocket has a very soft inner lining that feels warm and comfortable. On the inside you will find a smaller inside pocket that has one snap button to close it. If I have to complain about one thing it would be that the zipper pulls are very small and might be a little bit harder to handle if you wear gloves. I will just add a little pull string to make it easier for me to use so it is not a big deal for me. What really impressed me is how warm this jacket is! The jacket is made out of Nike Therma- Fit technology and promises to manage your natural heat to keep you warm. I own many jackets but I have never felt my body warm up so quickly as with this jacket. I am amazed how warm this jacket keeps me and can not wait to take it out during the colder season. We are an outdoor family and love to spend time in the snow. With a young kid you will find me outside any and every day and I already know that this jacket will be my new favorite for any kind of winter activity.

I 've been an avid backcountry skier for over a decade and this will be my first season guiding, so insulating jackets are usually put to good use. In the PNW the temps can get very cold but are generally moderate compared to somewhere further inland, so sometimes a 'light' puffy is just what you need. I ordered a medium and found the fit to be good- a little loose in the chest but great length( which is usually my issue with mediums; I 'll order larges just to get longer sleeves). Love the elastic sleeves on this jacket- not too tight but secure and can still stretch over gloves, watches, etc. My general experience with stretch down has been very positive; mostly due to the added durability. I 'm not afraid to brush up against trees or rocks, carry firewood, or set this jacket down on a rough wooden bench. The pockets are roomy and do n't snag as much as other jackets I 've owned, and the fact that this packs into its own pocket makes it easy to pack along on backcountry trips. I think the versatility and durability of this jacket makes it a great jack- of- all- trades for the multi- sport athlete and a solid addition to a ski bum's jacket collection.

I ’ m a backcountry Ski Patroller that teaches Outdoor Emergency Care and Avalanche Classes in the Rocky Mountains. I need my gear to perform both while patrolling and teaching classes, which usually involves temperature extremes and a lot of transitions between high output activities like skinning and digging and rest periods during transitions and lecture/discussion. I also need gear that is durable and can withstand several days in a row of use and abuse. The Stretchdown light jacket has turned into an everyday staple for me whether I ’ m on the hill or just heading into town. This good looking jacket has the warmth of a normal down jacket without the swishy noises or constricting fit that I ’ ve found in some others. It moves with me while I ’ m skinning or shoveling and, as with most down jackets, this one packs up small so I can easily stash it in my pack when I get warm. I ’ m usually a fan of hoods on most of my jackets, but as a layering piece in the field I actually really like that this one doesn ’ t have a hood, so it has a slimmer profile under my shell and is less bulky. I think this jacket is a great choice for someone looking for a lower profile down jacket for winter layering while skiing, snowshoeing, etc. that can also be worn as an outerwear piece that is comfortable and stylish in the spring/fall. Because of its weight and packability, it ’s a great choice for camping or backpacking year round, too.

I am an adventure supervisor at a therapeutic boarding school in Northwest Montana, and I use this jacket to lead hiking, biking, and climbing trips in cool temperatures. I also took this jacket camping with me in Glacier National Park when the temperatures got down into the teens, so I was able to compare its warmth to some of my other jackets. Although it loses some of its warmth without a hood, it kept me surprisingly warm in those low temps. Overall, however, I found that the biggest positive to this jacket is the durable material! The stretchdown feels more resistant to nicks and tearing, and I can see this jacket lasting a long time. It's also a plus for me that the down is RDS certified-- yay for animal welfare! I would not bring this as my only puffy jacket when backpacking because I would need the extra warmth that a hood brings. However, this layer would be really great for climbing in moderately cool temperatures because of how durable the material would be on the rock, or as a bonus layer to stuff in a pack for a little extra warmth. I gave this jacket four stars, mostly because of the fit. I am 5' 5 '', 120lbs, and I ordered a small because I normally like to layer underneath my puffy jackets. However, a small is too big on me even with layers underneath, and it also has a boxy fit around the shoulders. I would order an XS next time for sure!

I got a large and can cinch it enough in the waist so it fits, but I still have the ability to have my layers underneath, which I appreciate. 5' 4 and 150lbs, no butt or hips but theres plenty of room for if I did have that. Pant length is perfect with the ski boots. And with Raven colorway, the bright salmon zipper pulls match my jacket!:)

I gained some weight so I needed to size up this season. I have an environ jacket but I wasn ’ t a fan of the pants. These seem way softer, have a nice adjustable waist and great pockets. If I size down eventually I would definitely get these again.
