I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend going a size down from your normal size.

This is the perfect jacket for any type of cold weather! I live in a mild winter climate but tend to visit places where it gets a little chilly and wanted a jacket that would work for all the things. I sized up to make sure I have extra room for layering. On its own, it is perfectly lightweight and but still keeps me warm. On colder days, I am able to layer a sweatshirt underneath and stay cozy. It's warm and comfy. Soft fleece, lots of zippers and pockets. Got the gray, the fleece is different from my other Denali's. The fleece is maybe softer than the usual Denali fleece. The fleece does shed, which I guess happens with the softer fleece. It is way more cropped than the older Denali as well. The name should say `` Cropped ''. I 'm considering sizing up to see if it will make any difference, but that means the sleeves will be much wider. I 'm not sure why the under arms are soooo huge maybe to decrease sweating hence the zippers under the arms. They should have two options for the Denali, one with a regular length and one cropped for women. This one is functional, but will rise up. I buy a new Denali every few years, this one is very different. The prices keep going up and the jackets and sweaters keep getting shorter.

I have been waiting for a hooded version of a packable puffer that was still cute, and after enjoying other Halfdays products for skiing, I was excited when I saw this in their spring collection this year. This jacket arrived several weeks ago and has been great for everything I 've thrown at it! It has kept me warm, dry, and cute on rainy commutes to work, mulching my garden, and taking my dog on a field trip to our local forest preserves. It has been comfortable in temps as low as 35 and as high as 65 or so for me, personally. The hood and extended visor prevented all rain from getting to my face and hair. The weather can be bipolar very often, so if it's 35 degrees outside at the beginning of the day and hot later, I like the fact that I can carry a lightweight jacket around and stuff it in my backpack when I 'm not wearing it. Yes, this is a cropped boxy fit and runs a bit big. As long as you know that going into the purchase you won ’ t be disappointed. It ’s a FP dupe and a pretty good one( better than ones I found on Amazon). I am usually between a S and M and will often go with M in items like this to layer. But after reading reviews, I went with a S and I ’ m very happy. I can still layer under it but it ’s not too long, the sleeves are perfect and it ’s just baggy enough to be cute. I ’ m 5 ’ 3 ” and 145 for reference. I got the green and I like it but be warned it ’s a color that changes drastically depending on the light. Sometimes it looks darker or lighter and sometimes it pulls blue and almost looks teal. I ’ m considering buying in a second color because so far it has felt pretty warm and comfy to me.

I ’ ve had this jacket for over two years and I still love it. I wear it most of the year with varying degrees of layers. I love the lower side pockets where I can tuck my hands comfortably( some of the other fjallraven parkas don ’ t have lower side pockets in the women ’s version). I love the variety of pocket types and locations and use all of them. I love the cut and style. I love the color. I have the blue one which is such a beautiful tone. And I love how durable it is. I spend a lot of time in the forest with thorny vines, conifer branches, and a rowdy dog, and it has held up amazingly. Even in lots of rain when the wax layer is up- to- date. It has faded a little. I ’ m not sure if the slight fade is because of use or because I need to be better at waxing it. Please never stop making this jacket.

So glad I have this coat. I live in SE Tennessee so winters are more mild than my original home in the Midwest, but the fit allows me to layer so I 'm confident even during my travels this jacket is a one stop shop. I bought a large. I 'm 5' 2 '', 34J and usually wear a M/L top, size 12. The large fits perfectly, again, with enough room to layer a sweatshirt or sweater underneath comfortably. It does n't look too big without the extra layer under it either. My ONLY super slight complaint is that the sleeves are way too long( which is a common complaint for me). If they were an inch shorter it would be completely perfect, but I think the cut of the coat is such that they 're meant to be longer anyway. It's a specific thing for us shorter folks and it's not anything to make or break the jacket for me personally. I went out of my way to pay full price for it just to get the color I wanted( it was on sale at a wholeseller but did n't have the Acorn color in stock any more), which is n't something I do often. I 've had similar coats that cost less but did n't fit as well, and the versatility, adaptability adjustability, potential longevity of this jacket makes it worth every penny.

I couldn ’ t be any happier with this jacket. I love that it ’s not heavy, bulky or stiff. The lining is just enough to keep you warm with out making you too hot when in your car or while shopping. If you ’ re an outdoor enthusiast where you ’ ll be out for an extended time in- 0 temps, I ’ d look for a different jacket. This one is stylish and plenty warm for short times out in mild winter weather. I normally wear a large in clothing but typically size up in coats so I bought an XL. It fits perfect and I didn ’ t have the sleeve length issue as I saw in other reviews.( Just a note; Id say my arms are normal in length). If they were to improve this jacket, the thumb hole cuff inserts would be nice. I love this jacket so much that I went back to got the other color. Sadly it was sold out.
