It ’s lightweight enough to e breathable but at the same time the Omni- tech heating feature kept me warm during a hike. Love that it ’s waterproof as well( walked in rain& I was completely dry). I ’ m a man and the Women ’s puffer fits fairly unisex in my opinion, the shoulders are broad enough and it fits my torso like a glove. The jacket ’s are super warm but also still very light feeling. It was plenty warm enough for cool evenings and at high elevations. But the best feature of this jacket is the hood. The hood fits so well around your face and neck. This has become my favourite layer under my shell for cold winter hikes when its- 20 and the wind is blowing.

It has even performed perfectly on walks in temperatures well below freezing. I ’ m just over 5 ’ 6 ” and 150 lbs, athletic build and medium works well. I got this jacket to wear on early morning and late night walks with my dog. I got it in white so that I am visible to people driving. So far, it seems to helping. People actually stop for me at the crosswalks now. It is the perfect weight for brisk walking with temps in the 40's. I just wear a lightweight wool long sleeve shirt under it. This jacket is better in person than it is online. I purchased this specifically for traveling in the fall when there might be periods of rain. I needed a jacket that would provide warmth as well as protection from the rain. I have previously purchased a carhartt jacket with the description of a `` loose fit '' so I was familiar with sizing. I puchased the large and it is a perfect fit. I have to pay attention to measurements and sizing since I have a very full bust. Not only is it a perfect fit, I am also able to wear it over a medium weight hoodie if I should happen to need extra warmth. I tend to `` run cold '' so warmth is always a concern for me. My previous option to tackling the rain in chilly weather, was to wear a down jacket and then put a lightweight rain jacket on top of that. Peeling off the layers became very annoying when wet. This jacket should be a perfect solution for me. I am only 4' 11 '' and although I have short arms, the sleeves on this jacket are just fine. The velcro allows you to adjust how snug you need the wrist opening to be and I am able to adjust it so it provides protection and a comfortable fit. I chose the color black as it just works best for the color palette I gravitate towards. The interior and exterior pockets are great. There is an exterior zip pocket to the left of the zipper on the upper chest area, you will find it where the carhartt logo is located. My phone fits in here perfectly and makes for easy access when needed. The partial elastic at the waist provides a feminine touch and makes the jacket look less boxy. You have the side zippers and snap closure on each side at your upper thigh area if you should need a bit more width to the jacket. This might make it more comfortable when sitting, but for me, as I will be actively walking when wearing the jacket, keeping them zipped and snapped closed will provide more protection from the rain. It is definitely heavier than the packable/stowaway rain jacket I currently have, but as stated, I needed more warmth and not just rain protection. I 'm not terribly `` rough '' on clothing so I anticipate this jacket will last me for quite some time.

I really love this coat and all the small features that make it so nice. I love all the pockets, it actually fits a 1L water bottle. I love the little fleece details in the hood, at your face, and in the hand pockets. It ’s very warm, and I can choose to layer( or not) and still be warm. I kept my normal size small due to my broader shoulders and wanting it to be able to wear a sweater without my shoulders feeling restricted. It definitely is boxy, but I don ’ t pick coats based on that, but all the other features like staying warm. I really like how big the hood is, it actually fits both my head and a ski helmet, which is nice. I also love the length of the coat and how it ’s slightly longer than my waist. I appreciate the double zipper, when I get into the car I ’ ll unzip the bottom a touch so it ’s looser which makes any tightness when sitting down go away.

Love, love, love this jacket. I am that girl who is always freezing, especially if it's windy I do n't stand a chance. Well this jacket has been a lifesaver, got me through- 20F weather with no problem, it blocks the wind and moisture. The pockets at mid level, that are fleece lined, are a blessing. I did a lot of research before buying this coat and I do n't regret it. Now it may not be as form fitting as one might want but honestly when you are warm in dead of winter, who cares. [ I was heading to Alaska to visit my brother and I needed a better suited jacket for the elements. I ’ d tried this in at a local store but they did not offer and prints. The fit was perfect too. So I did a bit of research and found it with you! Perfect all the way around. I do ski a bit so this was perfect for that. I was t sure I would need this for Alaska but as luck would have it the temperature really dropped and it even snowed. I was quite cozy and looked great too. Two of my favorite things is the soft inner cuffs and the fleece inner collar. When you get it all zipped up it ’s cost on your face! Hopefully I ’ ll ski this season and put the jacket to a real test. The jacket does run small so I bought one size up.

I always wear a small size in coats but definitely need a medium to be comfortable. I love omni tech and require that from a winter coat. This jacket has been very warm so far and being waterproof in Oregon is necessary. I never thought I 'd separate the coats, but less than a week after purchasing, they became the perfect separates on a warmer vacation. The hood is not insulated but stays on through the wind. I wo n't need the ski skirt option and it's not a nuisance. I will note that it might be easier to dry the jackets separate after washing, or at least pull inner sleeves out or they will not dry timely. I 'm very pleased with this jackets, more than I ever expected.

The red color is eye- catching, and it's incredibly comfortable and flexible, not stiff or heavy even in the coldest temperatures. I bought the Lawernce Jacket and matching pants in Alpine Green and when I wear them together I get asked if I work for the forestry service so maybe I should have gone for another color. It's a great jacket with lots of pockets in the right spot. I appreciate the cell phone leash and the goggle whips built in. It would be nice if the front zipper pull was a bit bigger or had a cord on it to make zipping up with gloves on easier like the pocket zippers have. I love the Turtle Dove color as it is a creamy/vanilla shade that pairs well with any snow pant color. Amazing features- snow skirt, thumb cut outs, water proof and wind proof, zippers up to my chin, well insulated, and, multiple pockets. This jacket is one of the best quality ski jackets on the market now. I would say it's comparable to Helly Hansen's Alphelia jacket in terms of fit and features but for a lower price point. It even has a similar fit to the Arc'teryx jackets if you cinch the waistline in and tuck it. You can get away with wearing no layers underneath this jacket in 30F weather. I 've already gotten many compliments and will be wearing this to back to back ski trips in Vermont and Colorado! I agree with other reviews that a snow helmet can not fit underneath the hood, but that is NOT a con for me as wearing a hood while skiing usually obstructs my view anyway.

Really enjoy this coat. I live in Central Indiana, our winter weather fluctuates a lot with winter temps ranging from the 40s to- 15 windchills. This coat works as a great solution for both. For the warmer days the fleece insert can be removed and colder days the insert is plenty warm enough for daily use( short walks, grocery shopping and such). I do want to note that I have different proper low temp coat for long hours playing in the snow and outdoor work that I don ’ t mind tearing up. However I do think the Columbia coat would hold up through such treatment as well. I ’ m also a small statured woman 4 ’ 11 ” 115 lbs. The xs fit, but I went with the small so I have the option for layering. The adjustable cinching at the waist allows to make the slightly larger coat still form fitting and it doesn ’ t feel bulky. The arms are a little long, but that ’s normal with all clothing at my size.

[ I love that Nike found a way to make a women's jacket stylish AND warm. Big pockets? Yes. Warm hood? Yes. Plenty of filling? Yes. Just what you need on a cold winter day to enjoy being outside. It's slick enough on the outside to be ok in light snow. Fit is generous: long sleeves and a wide body make it pretty comfortable. It cinches around the waistline too which helps keep the heat in.

[ Overall, I think this Prima Puffer is great and would recommend it to anyone consider giving it a try. It ’s extremely comfortable, and I see myself being totally warm on the coldest of winter day. The material inside is soft while still being very insulated. The fit is certainly baggier than standard sizes, which is part of the design rather than being a flaw. While stylistically I personally prefer more fitted pieces, that doesn ’ t take away from the quality of the Prima Puffer whatsoever; there are tons of people who will prefer the baggier fit. You can see from the profile photo the logistics of the hood; it ’s very large and roomy. It ’ d be a really good hood if I had my hair done in a glamorous updo or needed to preserve the style while still wanting/needing a hood.. this one would be great for that since it ’s so large.

[ Honestly when I tried this jacket on for the first time I was n't sure if I could pull this look off. I am approximately 5' 3 '' and 110 pounds and this jacket is very fluffy and has an oversized look. The first time I tried this jacket on I fell immediately in love with the hoodie. This hoodie is big, looks amazing and is so comfortable. The whole jacket is super comfortable and very well made. This is my first Nike jacket and I am impressed with the quality. The details are on point and I really like the overall style. I just love the wide trim of the hoodie that also hides the zipper and provides two additional buttons to close the jacket. One button is on the upper end of the zipper and the other on the lower end. The hoodie also has a small white embroidered Nike logo on one side and a bigger stitched- in logo on the back that adds just the right amount of branding. There are a lot of black on black Nike logos on the inside of the jacket but the logos on the outside are more subtle. You can adjust the fit of the jacket by tightening it on the bottom or you can tighten the hoodie on both ends. There are also two outside pockets with zippers located on the front of each side of the jacket. Each pocket has a very soft inner lining that feels warm and comfortable. On the inside you will find a smaller inside pocket that has one snap button to close it. If I have to complain about one thing it would be that the zipper pulls are very small and might be a little bit harder to handle if you wear gloves. I will just add a little pull string to make it easier for me to use so it is not a big deal for me. What really impressed me is how warm this jacket is! The jacket is made out of Nike Therma- Fit technology and promises to manage your natural heat to keep you warm. I own many jackets but I have never felt my body warm up so quickly as with this jacket. I am amazed how warm this jacket keeps me and can not wait to take it out during the colder season. We are an outdoor family and love to spend time in the snow. With a young kid you will find me outside any and every day and I already know that this jacket will be my new favorite for any kind of winter activity.

I like this jacket because I don ’ t like jackets! It ’s very warm because of the Omni heat and 650 down fill. It ’s not bulky( Omni heat keeps the bulk down). The quilting keeps the down fill from shifting. I have good range of motion without feeling like I ’ m confined. And it ’s cute!

[ After having this puffy for a month, I 'm pretty happy with it. My job keeps me outside in all kinds of weather, so I have worn this puffy almost everyday so far this winter. I 've found that its best suited for 25- 45 degree weather. Anything above, and I get too hot! Anything below that range, and it is just cold enough that I would put on a thicker base layer underneath or wear a tougher shell over the puffy. Its great at cutting wind chill too. And with the fun heat seal part, I 'm excited to see how long this thing lasts with the activities I put through all my clothes!

Ive been on one hike, temp was 30- 35F I layered with a columbia fleece kept me nice& warm. Also great for walking dogs around the block. I love all the deep pockets, fits my cell& keys perfectly. I havent tested in temps below zero yet or rainy conditions but I 'm sure if you added a shell over it would be fine

When in bitter conditions and needing to hunker down, the inner sections cover my mouth and nose and are soft against my face. For a synthetic piece, I was impressed by how much the insulation reminded me of down. It ’s light and warmed up quickly within moments of me having it on. The massive interior drop pockets are awesome and large enough to effortlessly stash my bulky gloves. The hand pockets are deep, so I don ’ t have to worry about fitting my whole hand inside to warm up if I forget gloves. [ Comfortable is the absolute perfect word for this parka. The fabric is soft and fits loose for me but is exactly how I like this size jacket. If you need to stay warm the added neck coverage can zip up to cover your mouth and with goggles will ensure you are fully covered. The length is absolutely perfect and can be a great stylish piece because the jacket gives the appearance and fitting snug but is actually loose. The parka black color is neutral and goes with many of my pants and shoe options. This will ensure that this parka will remain a staple in the winter seasons. This is one of the nicest jackets in my closets and feels premium. If you want to invest in a good parka I think you may have just found your jacket of choice.

[ This parka will allow you to be outside in ANY cold weather environment. This may be the warmest parka/coat I 've ever tried. It is very long, which provides great protection from elements such as wind, rain or ice but still allows you to move around comfortably in it. The material is very soft but durable, and seems as though it would be difficult to tear/puncture. I would also like to add that it does seem to run a little big, but it may fit better once you are layered up for colder elements, depending on what exactly you wear under it. I would likely need to size down. Overall, this parka is a definite WIN!

Being oversized is great for layering though in the cold winter months. I love the long parka length to keep my whole body warm.
