I like that it has the Omni- heat foil on the inside, which was the main reason I bought it as it can get as low as 9 degrees where I live. I wasn ’ t aware of the “ Outgrown ” thing and was pleasantly surprised to learn about it as I was checking out the jacket. That seems super useful and since I bought this to be grown- into, the extending cuffs add some extra life to the jacket. It ’s still summer right now, so I can ’ t comment on how toasty it keeps my toddler just yet, but it ’s pretty thick and I ’ m guessing this will be amazing for the next 2- 3 years.

When I received this, the first test was to run water over my sleeve in the sink. The water ran right off. Recently had a scrap with a rose branch and the tough shoulder material was unaffected. I got this jacket to wear on early morning and late night walks with my dog. I got it in white so that I am visible to people driving. So far, it seems to helping.
