[ First, the pockets.... two large zippered pockets in front, another in back, and a deep side pocket as well. So functional. Next, quality... very well made and very polished look. And finally comfort.... love the light stretchy material. Great for fishing or not fishing!

[ This is the second time I have purchased these shorts. I finally wore out the first pair which I purchased 2 years ago. I know the shorts are designed for fishing and ocean- related stuff. Yes, I use them for everyday wear as well as for the sport I play which is Lawn Bowls. The side pocket is great for holding everything from my lip balm to my measure for bowls. The only thing I find that is not so good is the stitching along the bottom of front pockets had to be resewn as this just does n't seem to hold. Other than that This is a great pair of shorts.

Jacket is 100% waterproof. Have used it a few times in heavy rain. I have bought a few rain jackets that are supposedly waterproof, and I end up at least a little wet. This jacket is the real deal. I wish it had side pockets. I guess I assumed it would. I can look past that, though. Recommended.

When selecting kayak fishing apparel, look for features such as water resistance, breathability, and UV protection. Quick-drying materials are essential to keep you comfortable during and after your fishing trips. Additionally, consider apparel with pockets for storage and adjustable elements for a better fit.
Kayak fishing apparel is often made from synthetic materials like polyester and nylon, which offer durability and moisture-wicking properties. Some garments may also incorporate waterproof or water-resistant coatings to keep you dry. Look for lightweight and flexible fabrics that allow for ease of movement while paddling.
Kayak fishing apparel is specifically designed to accommodate the unique needs of kayak anglers, such as enhanced mobility and protection from splashes. Unlike regular fishing clothing, kayak-specific gear often features additional elements like adjustable cuffs, reinforced seams, and quick-drying capabilities to handle the demands of being on the water.
Yes, wearing layers is advisable when kayak fishing, as it allows you to adjust your clothing based on changing weather conditions. A moisture-wicking base layer can keep you dry, while an insulating layer can provide warmth. An outer layer that is water-resistant or waterproof will help protect you from splashes and rain.
For warm weather kayak fishing, lightweight and breathable clothing is ideal. Look for apparel that offers UV protection to shield your skin from harmful sun rays. Quick-drying shorts and shirts made from moisture-wicking materials can help you stay comfortable and cool throughout your fishing adventure.
