Although it's technically a sporty piece of clothing I have found I can wear it to pretty much any occasion. It goes with every pair of trainers I own which makes it a versatile and classy piece. This top delivers on multiple fronts. The fabric is lightweight and feels well matched to warm summer days. I have sweat in it comfortably. At the same time, I have worn it as an effective base layer for cooler temps, which can still arise suddenly in Colorado springs. The slightly gathered fabric effect offers forgiveness for some of my own belly and arm ripples. The edging makes the top feel feminine just the way I want it to-- I like doing athletic things with the boys, but I do n't want to dress like them. This top helps me stay covered without feeling frumpy( I 'm in my mid- forties). I have a 36 '' chest, 30 '' waist, and 40 '' hips. I wear a size M comfortably. It does not wear too baggy for the look, nor is it too tight at all. Given the forgiveness and stretch of the fabric, I could imagine sizing down without much issue, but I do n't want to wear this piece tighter.
