Bought these to use as an alternative to fleece lined work pants. Much prefer these as it provides more flexibility, yet keeps you warm. They fit well and pair with my canvas work pants. I am impressed with my Carhartt Poly- wool bottom. I received the thermal as part of a Carhartt Crew Field Test, but I will be ordering two more complete sets. I am truly amazed at how well this bottom works to keep me warm. One must understand, I am constantly cold, so to me, this is amazing. I am 5ft 3in, and weigh 115lbs, and the small works well for me. I have laundered it, with no ill effects. It has retained it's shape and fit very well. The bottom also fits perfectly under skinny jeans, without bunching or showing. I live in Iowa, and it gets cold here. While wearing this pair of thermal bottoms, I stayed warm. It really goes long way in cutting the harsh winds we get out here on the prairie. I can honestly recommend this thermal bottom to anyone who gets cold in the winter.

I ask for duofold wool and cotton combos, but they are impossible top find anymore. Ny wife gave me two pairs of the Platinum II Pants from ColdPruf for Christmas. They have the same insulation value as the duofold but are less bulky, and much more comfortable due to the merino wool. I like these better than my underarmor, too, easier on and off. Kudos for a fine product.

I prefer a lighter, merino base layer- these were a bit thick to ski in for my liking BUT! I absolutely love them for a post- ski lounge/apres sesh or for traveling. They are compressive yet perfectly giving and the high waist sucks you right in. I also love where they hit- I normally wear a 25 '' inseam and these fit right on my ankle bone. The only thing would be length… I ’ m 5 ’ 5 ” and a little too long for me… but I like pants big around my waist so maybe if I chose a more appropriate waist size, the length would be more appropriate. But for me, a 180lb 5 ’ 5 ” athletic built( yes fat but athletic) a little too long in the legs. But the elastic ankle cuff keeps it from being a real issue. LOVE these pants. Gon na buy more.

Purchased these pants, that I have been looking at for some time, for Alaskan travels. I was able to wear them multiple times on rainy days and then the versatility of just touring. Made my packing list much smaller because they are so versatile. I am 5 ’ 6 ”, 57 years old and 138 pounds. I tried on both the 6 and the 8, both of them fit well and ended up keeping 8 so I could layer for warmth if I needed. Went with the 32 inch length because I like for the pant leg to extend, but the 30 inch would ’ ve worked too.

Tough material that will protect the skin, with just enough stretch panels and ventilation to be comfortable. My only complaint is I wish these were available in a curved style like the Keb. I sized up but getting them over my hips can still be a challenge. The fit once on is great though.
