These are a nice base layer to use on a cold day run! Depending on the temperature outside and the intensity of your run, you may need another layer over these to keep warn, but on a milder cold day these will work great on their own! Compression and fit worked well for me!

I typically wear a size 4- 6 in pants and went with a medium. Not too compressive but fit great at the waist( 27 '').
