These are warmer than my North Face snoga pant and just as flattering. I can wear a think wool layer underneath on cold days. I find Roxy brand to run on the smaller size, so size up if you are unsure. I would say they are a juniors sizing not ladies. I personally like the high waist& elastic waistband for curvy figures- it keeps the snow out if you take a tumble.

The ski pants is true to the size for very slim fit; I 'm 5'11 '', 140lbs, and I can fit a medium weight base layer legging into M size( if you stature is about the same, do n't go for L, it 'll be way too loose, almost like regular/goofy fit). The material is also fairly stretchy, unlike some more waterproof/hardcore surface. It's not insulated with down/etc. but it has an inner fleece and is relatively warm. The design is really good, if you are looking for something flattering and can show off your leg.

These are great ski pants except for the length. I always buy “ short ” length in Columbia hiking pants and ski pants, I ’ m 5 ’ 3 ”. I ’ m a woman who ’s 5 ’ 5 ” and I weigh 190#. There were not women options left and I needed snow pants or a snow bib. I purchased the L in mens. I had to pull the straps as tight as they would allow and when wearing snow boots it fit perfectly. It was not tight or restricting in any way. So much more comfortable than the Women ’s snow pants/bibs.

[ Obermeyer ski pants fit me fairly well. 5 ’ 3 ” strong legs and small hips. Had to size up due to being too tight in legs on this style. Have another pair of obermeyer ’s that I ’ ve enjoyed for 4 yrs.
