I had to pull the straps as tight as they would allow and when wearing snow boots it fit perfectly. It was not tight or restricting in any way. These pants are so cute, fit great, and true to size. USE OBERMEYER ’ S SIZE CHART and take your measurements. I did after a lot of inner debate and the size 10 fits really well! I am 5 ’ 5 ” and 155lbs. Measurements are 29 ” waist, 41 ” hips, 29 ” inseam and because I was mostly worried about these pants fitting my thick thighs, they are each 24. 5 ” around. I am surprised by how well these fit and have never had such flattering ski pants. The fabric has elasticity so it hugs my curves without feeling tight. I paired with the Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue, perfect match. All the materials seem to be good quality. Strong zippers& fasteners. They are not insulated but are fully lined with fleece. As intended, they are a sporty sleek fit unlike insulated snow pants. They felt warm but will have to test on mtn!

I really like the fit and contour of these bibs. I was looking for a burly 3L pant that is roomy enough for proper cold weather layering.( I ski at Whitefish, MT. often, so.....). These check that box nicely without being too baggy. For reference, I 'm 6'- 3 '', 210 lbs., 35 '' waist, 34 '' inseam in most pants. Purchased size Large. Lengthwise, these ride just right with my ski boots on.( Even though the size chart says 32. 9 inseam). The 3 layer `` AdvancedSkin Dry+ '' fabric is bomber, weatherproof and resembles 3L Gore Tex. [ I have used these ski bibs about 6 times since purchase and have been very satisfied. My main reason was my old pants would n't keep me dry on a stormy day. The very first day they were put to a test with a mix of rain and snow. They passed with flying colors and now I am staying dry even in challenging weather. The fit is very loose.
