Bought these for a Colorado ski trip in January and put many miles on these pants in 4 days straight of skiing. For the price you can ’ t beat them. Only problem I had was the sizing. The waistband is adjustable to a point but the overall sizes available weren ’ t fitting right. Either a little too loose or a little too tight. These pants are awesome. Great baggier fit for people with larger muscular legs. I ’ m 6 ’ 2 or 188cm and I got a L regular. Slightly long but nothing a belt can ’ t help. I took them on a mountaineering adventure snowshoeing through knee to waist deep snow without getting even a drop wet. Incredible breathability, stretch, and comfort. I love the color too! They even ripped because I snagged them with a crampon and still didn ’ t let any water through!

One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

I have had Burton covert and cargo pants for years because it was what I thought was good. These 686 pants are waaaayyyy better in every way. I always wear XL and that is what I ordered knowing the reviews all say they run big, which they do, but I wanted a baggy fit. I use impact shorts and knee/shin guards when I ride. The pants fit perfect over this and do not hinder my mobility like the other brand. The color is awesome and I stay warm and dry all day.

The ski pants is true to the size for very slim fit; I 'm 5'11 '', 140lbs, and I can fit a medium weight base layer legging into M size( if you stature is about the same, do n't go for L, it 'll be way too loose, almost like regular/goofy fit). The material is also fairly stretchy, unlike some more waterproof/hardcore surface. It's not insulated with down/etc. but it has an inner fleece and is relatively warm. The design is really good, if you are looking for something flattering and can show off your leg.

I love the fit on these pants! I am a size 6- 8 and the M fits perfect! I like them more snug because they are more flattering& I do not feel like a marshmallow. These are warmer than my North Face snoga pant and just as flattering. I can wear a think wool layer underneath on cold days. I find Roxy brand to run on the smaller size, so size up if you are unsure. I would say they are a juniors sizing not ladies. I personally like the high waist& elastic waistband for curvy figures- it keeps the snow out if you take a tumble.

[ It is really difficult to find ski pants which actually reach the waistline. I prefer a high waist because I like to be warm. I also find them flattering. So I kept these although their inseam measures 33 ”. This is “ tall ”, but doesnt matter over ski boots.

I bought these pants to go with the Roxy Snow pop jacket that has this pink color in it. They are a great match. These pants do run small. I wear a size 6 and I bought a medium and they are snug. They are warm and water proof. They are 15K rated and waterproof gortex. As long as I keep them clean I will have them forever. I love the high waist. Was not sure if i wanted the pants or ski bibs but the high waist keeps snow out and ski bibs would be a hassle to take on and off to go to the bathroom where the pants just unzip. They are more slenderizing than most ski pants so I like that too! They were crazy expensive so I hope they last!
