I have to start off and say I really appreciate the quality that goes into these bibs, there have been numerous improvements and upgrades to the older design. They have a relief cut into the pocket to hang a tape measure on either side. The front of the bib pockets are much more usable now, especially with the large zip pocket. One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. I took them on a mountaineering adventure snowshoeing through knee to waist deep snow without getting even a drop wet. Incredible breathability, stretch, and comfort. I love the color too! One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

This is my second time purchasing these pants. I bought my original pair for a trip to Everest in 2021 and I wore them for weeks straight. They have great stretch, and I loved the adjustable waist and venting in particular as I tend to run hot. We had many days of cold rain on the way up and these pants kept me warm the whole time.( paired with lightweight base layer leggings). The inner leg protection for the boots is rugged and I agree with others that details such as the many zipper pockets made these pants an excellent value. These are my go- to winter hiking pants in cold- weather conditions. You will not be disappointed with these pants.

Bought these for a Colorado ski trip in January and put many miles on these pants in 4 days straight of skiing. For the price you can ’ t beat them. Only problem I had was the sizing. The waistband is adjustable to a point but the overall sizes available weren ’ t fitting right. Either a little too loose or a little too tight.
