These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. I sized down in these based on reviews. I usually wear a MD pant with Free Fly, but I am glad I sized down. They are `` fitted '' by sizing down, but no uncomfortably. Does not pull with sitting and I can tell they are already relaxing with wear, so I am happy I did size down. I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.

The pants have a perfect amount of stretch, which makes them comfortable during a day on the trail, and when relaxing around camp afterward. The zippered legs come off and on easily, and the adjustable drawstring at the ankle allows you to cinch it up around your boot to help keep 6- 8 legged critters and trail debris out of your shoes. I like them, and they look good with my Scout leader uniform too. I went with the Morel color, as the Verde was a little too green for my tastes.

The material is thick enough to use in from spring through fall. Have pairs in different colors and highly recommend when it is a challenge to find pants that you can wear for a few years. Do not know why companies make clothes that we have to throw away after a few months or less than a year. These are quite seriously the best pair of shorts that I have ever owned. They come in sizes not often available in the US, have room in the hips to move around in, and have extremely durable but stretchy fabric; particularly in the middle so movement is never limited. The only ways they could get even better would be to have a zipper leg attachments and the black fabric colors to initially come as one blending color.- Additional Bonus: The pocket set up is amazing!

[ Shorts are form fitting, but not tight. Material is of a high- tech nature, not cotton. Dries fast and durable. Material is n't stretchy, but super comfortable. On a side note, I 'm happy that there is no back pocket. Strange at first, but now that I 've worn them a while I appreciate not sitting on my wallet. Plus, not having a pocket makes the shorts a little more `` clean '', too.

It is also light enough that when washed i do n't need to put it in the dryer, i just hang it to air dry. I bought a pair last year and a 2nd pair just recently in a different color. the only i wish theses pants have are elastic waistband. The recommended use is hiking and when hiking the elastic waist band would 've been more comfortable with all that moving and bending you will do. The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match. I like the pants but I ’ d prefer a light soft lining which the Holly pants have and a softer outside material which probably is less water resistant. The Arche Rock pants have a thin material with no lining and they rustle when I walk. Maybe some of the stiffness will decrease over time. I had a pair of these about 5 years ago when I walked the Camino in Spain. After walking, I backpackad throughout Europe for the next 12 months. These were my only pants. They are durable, lightweight, breathable, dry fast and I loved them for all of that plus the zippered pocket that kept my wallet and passport safe in Paris when two friends had theirs stolen. The majority of the time I hand washed them since an actual washing machine was wishful thinking. Fortunately, they do n't hold onto sweat and stink like some man- made fabrics so a sink, some warm water, a little bit of soap, and some elbow grease kept me from being too socially unacceptable. Did they pill? Yes, between the thighs. So what. The zippers held, no seams unraveled, the front button did n't pop when I first wore them and was too fat for them and the drawstring was a lifesaver when they were too loose when I finished. Ladies, these are a perfect pant. I just bought a new pair. It's the right time. Adventure awaits!

I love the way these pants feel and look. I recently bike commuted in them in the rain and unexpectedly they did great shedding water, they barely got wet at all. I love the stretchy waistband and overall fit. Being a little taller, they bottoms are a few inches above my ankles but that's fine if you 're looking for that. I would love an identical option that extended another 6 '' or so and in a few more fun colors. I 'm about 5' 7 '' and 133# and a size S was just right to avoid a baggy look that still moved well. I always seem to fall somewhere between an OR size S and M for bottoms, though.

I recently took a skid on a downhill abrasive, pebbly hike and thought `` this is end of these pants ''. I was wrong- they were n't at all damaged and the rock dust just brushed off. I would love to see some more colors in muted tones- gray, drab olive green, etc. The khaki color goes with most color tops, but the green is an evergreen color that does n't go with most of my wardrobe, just the black and white tops. My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.

I ’ ve put a ton of wear and tear on these pants with backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and general travel. For being as breathable and light as these are, they hold up to abrasions pretty well. I ’ ve had tons of branches, rocks, and trees slide on these without any major damage. The integrated shoelace/string belt on the interior of the waist is a great little compliment to the external belt loops, no extra bulk with a little extra security. One small negative I have for these are the elastic cinches at the cuffs. They ’ ve held up fine so far, but I ’ m always worried about losing one of the little clips that go on them. Just make sure you loosen them before taking the pants off and double check that the 2 pieces are still there.

These are just great. The waist size is ruler accurate- no funny business there. They look sharp. They ’ re very comfortable. They ’ re not baggy. Lots of snaps and pockets. I bought several pairs and wear them almost everyday. They ’ re holding up very well. I really like how they fit and look. They are a bit “ cool ” as in they don ’ t retain a great deal of heat, but that ’s a pro in the spring/summer/fall.

First putting on the elastic around the ankles may deter yo but once on you ’ ll really appreciate the elastic ankle. Really satisfied with the comfort and flexibility and security of the pant. It feels comfortable and entirely free. Perfect for a quick day hike, daily bike commute to work or everyday casual.

I really like these trousers. I wanted a pair of hiking trousers that looked a little more stylish and can be worn in a multitude of scenarios. I have them in green, a pleasing military shade, and like the fact they are all a single block of colour unlike many two- tone hiking trousers( which I personally find a little uncool). Material is flexible facilitating easy and fluid movement and is durable but not heavy. The cut is straight, not baggy, a little more slim than most walking trousers. The elasticated hem is practical and aids with the slimmer line of the trouser. The 3 pockets are all zipped which is practical. The yellow logo on the back is cool. I would recommend and may also buy in the blue colour too.

I bought this pants a month ago. I did the measurements and get the size according to chart size and they fit perfect. Measure your body, don ’ t fall for suggestion size. Color stone gray is so easy to pair with other colors. For colder days the base layer is a must.

These are my favorite, the BEST 👍🏻 pants ever! They BREATH so they are very comfortable in summer and for walking. I 'm so glad I did n't order these online, I opted to try on my normal size at a local retailer and they were crazy tight, like early 2000s skinny jeans. I then tried on 2 sizes up from my regular waist size and they fit nicely with a belt. If you work out and have thighs and glutes that are semi- built order a size or two up in the waist for mobility. As far as quality goes, I like the thickness and rigidity of the material, definitely a nice resistant fabric.

AP Pants- Really great quality, fabric and cut but mine ran long. I am 6- 1, 195 with 35 ” waist and the 36/34 size was way too long. I ’ ll exchange them; they ’ re worth the money and seem very functional, very well made.
