These were the best for our recent salt water flats trip! They were perfectly light and comfortable even after getting wet. They dried quickly and were my choice to wear for the whole week. My only issue was that they were a little short, leaving a chunk of my ankle exposed in the sun. It was an easy fix with taller socks though.

Perfect spring legging. They are also the first leggings I ’ ve found that don ’ t slide down horribly. These are great hiking and every day tights! Based on another review, I thought they 'd be softer. But make no mistake, these are technical feeling tights... like running tight material. I purchased these after a hike in the Yukon where I ended up stripping off my hiking pants down to my baselayer bottoms as it was much warmer than expected. I thought, why not use a legging as my baselayer and then if I need to strip off, I am not hiking through bramble in my woolies? I was worried as there is no drawstring at the waist, I wondered if the weight of my phone in the side pocket would pull the pants down over time. The good news is that the pants stay up very well. They are very breathable and I consider they will make great warm weather bottoms. The ankle opening is quite narrow- put your socks on after! True to the sizing guide.

I really did n't know what to expect from this product but I have a pair of ferrosi leggings that I love so I thought I 'd give these a try. I 'm glad I did! I bought the blue and aside from the fact they just look really cool with the two tone color, they fit and feel great. And the thoughtful extras- like deep side pockets- are greatly appreciated. I bought these at the end of the winter season and was sad that they might sit in a drawer for months before it was again cold enough to use them, but then we had one of those raw April days in the Midwest. These tights were so perfect. I 'll be buying a second pair.

I was provided this model of Ferrosi Hybrid leggings to replace a previous pair( the warranty issue was such a complete fluke that really, I should have bought a lottery ticket because the chances of it happening in another pair of leggings would be next to impossible). So A. GREAT work OR for standing behind your products and B. They were replaced by a newer model. Turns out, this is a super cute legging. I love the pockets- they are placed well, good size, extremely functional. I am not sure if I am entirely sold on the two tone black color. When I pulled them out of the wash the back almost looked navy blue- but it could have been the lighting. I have a weird hangup with black and navy together. But really, these are super functional for outdoor pursuits, I am very happy with them.

The color looks even more premium in person than in the picture. I love the black stripe on the inner side of the pants, which acts like a contour for your legs, making the legs appear slimmer. The material is incredibly lightweight, dries quickly, and is perfect for water activities. The inseam is perfect for shorter legs. I 'm 5' 5 with a long torso and short legs, and the hem fits perfectly.

[ I could go on and on about this whole line from Smartwool. It's their best thing in a very long time and I 've been a fan for years. The material is very soft, has a great but comfortable fit. These bottoms also have a nice wide and sturdy waste band so there is no bunching or other uncomfortable nonsense in that area. These are very warm, so perfect under a shell pant or bib for alpine skiing, but I do n't think I would wear them on a tour.
