I bought the pink ones because I wear this stuff for everyday wear, in addition to hiking and camping. I love the shorts, and LOVE the fit, but the fabric really does stain incredibly easy. I would n't purchase these in a light color because they readily absorb stains and will NOT release them. I travel quit a bit and wanted a pair of shorts that I could work out in, trail run, swim in, etc. Also wanted something that would dry quickly. These are great for that. I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach.
