[ These pants are excellent. I work outdoors in the heat and sun and nothing beats these lightweight pants. As stretchy and comfortable as joggers, while looking as clean and professional as chinos. Can not recommend these enough. Your normal waist and inseam size will work because of the stretch, however the waist runs half- an- inch to an inch small and the length is half and inch long in my opinion.

[ Just received my Outdoor Research Ferrosi pants. First thing I noticed was the softness of the material. The pants fit perfectly in fact I 'll be wearing them even when not hiking. The zippered thigh pocket is big enough for the phone. The two front pockets are huge and I like the back zippered pocket for my maps. The fit is not tight or loose. Upon bending, the Ferrosi material seemed to be stretchable and not confining. The pants felt comfortable and breathable to the point that I thought I was wearing shorts. Even hiking during the New Mexico monsoons, I kept dry. Hiking through the brush, I was n't sure if the pants would tear, the Ferrosi pants passed the test. As far as style is concerned, I feel and look great in these Ferrosi pants. Keep up the good work Outdoor Research, ca n't wait to get a Ferrosi jacket.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

[ I was so impressed with how lightweight these pants are. They will be perfect in the spring, when I go on hikes. I found them to be true to size. I also love the fact that they can be converted into shorts as well.

[ I love the versatility of these pants. Being able to unzip and have a short that is the perfect length not too short or long. Super lightweight. Drawstring at the ankle. Good for hiking, camping, traveling, etc!

[ Received a pair of Marmot Women ’s Arch Rock Convertible pants from Influenster and tried them on right when they arrived. They are a little bit snug but still on a weight loss journey. Looking to do a lot of hiking this spring and these pants will be very helpful. I love the option to make them tight at the ankle or to remove them at the knee to turn them into shorts. They are very comfortable and made of excellent quality material. I do love that they have sun protection as well.

[ These pants are great and versatile, the fabric is lightweight but durable and feels extremely high quality. I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ” and the inseam is perfect as it hits the top of my hiking boots, not to mention the drawstring at the ankle makes it versatile when I ’ m wearing thicker wool socks.

[ I received the Marmot Arch Rock Convertible UPF 50 Pants for free in exchange for an honest review, and I couldn ’ t be happier with them! When I got them, I immediately thought they ’ d be perfect for my mother- in- law, who loves hiking and travels to all sorts of unique destinations. After trying them on, she said they were incredibly comfortable and lightweight. She wore them on a hike, and afterwards, she mentioned that they were some of the most comfortable pants she ’s ever worn. The convertible design is a great feature, especially for fluctuating weather during hikes. The UPF 50 rating is a bonus, offering solid sun protection while still being breathable. [ These pants are perfect for lounging or activities. They stretch and are a medium- light material. I am 6 ’- 1 ” and the medium fit well, although I ’ d take a few more inches in length if they offered that option.

I found myself wearing sweat pants all the time because... you know, it works and feels good but I do n't want to look like a guy that wears sweat pants all the time. Now I got these pants and not only am I comfortable, but I also am able to keep it classy:) This pants are great for an expert at comfort. I feel like I could even wear these to work. I advise you combine it with a nice top.

I love the casual look and feel mixed with the tech performance. I 'm someone who often goes from a meeting to outside play and these fit the bill perfectly. The drawstring waist is super comfy and eliminates the need for belt, which I hate having to use on tech pants.
