I have n't gotten to wear these out yet, but from trying them I think they 're going to be great for the summer! I work outside, and finding comfortable shorts that are n't too short is definitely tricky. I would suggest sizing down, based on the size chart I needed a 2X, but I tried on the XL in store and they have PLENTY of room. They have a 6 '' inseam, which is a little longer than I usually like, but will still be comfortable. Rated durability a 3 because I have n't really put them to the test yet.

[ I received the Nike Sportswear Classic Wovens Women's Mid- Rise Shorts in teal and the color does not disappoint, it is vibrant! What I immediately liked about these shorts is that they are lightweight and unlined( perfect for running in the summer when temperatures are high and I sweat more, despite being made of polyester). The inseam length is moderate, which I find more flattering than a short inseam. I am size 26 waist and got the size small, they fit true to size. The one complaint I have is there is no zippered pocket to hold a key or fob while running, that would have made these perfect. I got the shorts in both colors. The river blue is beautiful! The fit is just I wanted. I 'm a mom of 3 kids and the high waist perfectly hides my tummy. The shorts makes my waist look slimmer so not only these are functional, they look good on you too. I do n't go on hikes. Ever. But I still wear these shorts around town, when I am going out to buy groceries, to school, to chase my kids around, and just about anywhere I go when the weather is nice outside. These have quickly become my go- to warm weather short. They are high waisted, roomy in the legs, and incredibly light weight and breathable. There's also a drawstring on the inside incase you need it. I 'm 5' 9 '', 135lbs, wear a size 29( ish)/ 6 in jeans, and I have the size 38 in these shorts. They fit great. They do relax just a hair as you wear them, but return after a wash. Overall, I 'm so happy I have these and will wear them in life and on the trail alike.

The only con I would note is that I find they don ’ t really have a compression effect so if you ’ re looking for something that will hold you in these are more stretchy. I got the coze up tank to go with it and it's a perfect match. I normally wear smalls in Prana shorts but these had just a little too much room in them. I could tie them and make them fit perfectly but I would have to tie them very tightly and why sacrific the comfort. I 'm hoping the XS fits better.

The material is light, comfortable, dries quickly, and seems to resist odors better than other athletic shorts I have. The little zippered pocket is a nice touch, too.
