My daughter prefers these volleyball shorts over the Nike ones because the seems don ’ t rip open after one wash and there is no elastic band that flips over for heavier and shorter players. They take about 2 years of washing before they start to loosen and not be as tight. But, that ’s okay, because they then get rotated into everyday use as an under- the- skirt bike short.

I used to love the below the knee Jordan shorts, but that ’s not what ’s in anymore. I ’ ve been a big fan of 5in mesh shorts but the men ’s Jordan shorts have still been a little too long for me. They are also UPF 50 which is important to me, as I ’ ve been trying to be more aware of sun damage since I ’ ve hit 40. They feel silky and are not constricting at all at either the waist or leg. No bunching or riding up either which is a major pet peeve of mine, so five stars for that alone. They have pockets and a modest length which I appreciate and the color is a true khaki. I found that the shorts are great for running and biking- with the built in liner to help avoiding the shorts from riding up and the 3 ” length is great for allowing movement. The fabric is lightweight and comfortable, which allows more time focusing on my workout and less about unbunching or constantly pulling material one way or the other. I also love that the top of the shorts are stretchy and provide maximum comfort while the lower half are lightweight and breezy material that doesn ’ t rub on my skin.
