I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” and 120 lbs, and the XS fits really well. The waistband is a bit snug going over the hips, but once it ’s on, it feels firm and supportive, which I like. The best way to describe the fabric is to compare it to the Athleta brand I also wear. The Athleta brand has a buttery soft feel, a bit slick, thinner feeling fabric, and I do love them. By comparison, the Calia fabric for this legging has a slightly course, thicker feel, making it a bit warmer with a more substantial feel, which I also love. And when I say “ course ”, I should clarify that it is still a very soft fabric and you won ’ t be disappointed. Both are great in their own way, and I wear either depending on what I ’ m doing.

DSG as a brand has always been a solid choice for function and value and these compression tights tow that line. I ’ ve been hitting the gym 4 days a week after a long absence which left me short on workout wear so I stocked up, with an emphasis on compression. They do not disappoint. Spending 2 hours x 4 days training hard makes for weary legs, but my DSG tights add a layer of support that feels great throughout. It may not be groundbreaking, not attempting to oversell the benefits, but definitely helpful. After a dozen washes they ’ re still good as new and the pocket adds a convenient spot to park my phone while at the gym.
