I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” and 120 lbs, and the XS fits really well. The waistband is a bit snug going over the hips, but once it ’s on, it feels firm and supportive, which I like. The best way to describe the fabric is to compare it to the Athleta brand I also wear. The Athleta brand has a buttery soft feel, a bit slick, thinner feeling fabric, and I do love them. By comparison, the Calia fabric for this legging has a slightly course, thicker feel, making it a bit warmer with a more substantial feel, which I also love. And when I say “ course ”, I should clarify that it is still a very soft fabric and you won ’ t be disappointed. Both are great in their own way, and I wear either depending on what I ’ m doing.

The ends don ’ t roll up and the side pocket fits my iPhone 11. I probably could have fit more comfortably in a Small but I like a lot of compression so got XS. It ’s so hard to find longer bike shorts( for those of us with thick thighs) that have pockets, do not cause sausage leg, and don ’ t roll at the waist while still giving some tummy control.
