Living in Florida, the material is perfect as it is not overwhelmingly warming. I found it to be just the right hoodie for morning and evening runs as its moisture- wicking too. I love the designs on the strings and think it really makes it more interesting versus just a solid color string. I like how the hoodie does n't cinch at the wrists and allows a natural arm swing during a run. The deep pocket in the front is always a plus when lounging. Absolutely love this crew neck basketball sweatshirt. The Dri- Fit terry cloth material is smooth and comfortable while keeping your temperature balanced. I have a million Nike fleece hoodies. This is a nice alternative that keeps you warm but comfortable and cool with sweat wicking in warmer temperatures. I have this top in olive and black. I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. It still protects my whole back, even when I bend over, but is n't too long. Overall, I 'm really happy with it!
