I have, and love, the Latitude tote but it is starting to wear and I wanted a replacement. I was bummed when I realized the Latitude is no longer sold, so I went with the Everywhere tote because its a similar size. This is a great bag! Because its canvas rather than leather it looks a bit more like luggage than an oversized purse but the pockets and compartments make it way better for day trips etc. It's also nice that it zips across the top to close completely. The only thing I would have loved is a water bottle sized pocket on the inside or outside. Otherwise I love this bag, it holds a ton, is easy to organize, and is comfortable to carry.

I own a lot of duffle bags. I ’ m a seasonal worker in Alaska and the lighter and tougher the bag that can hold my gear the better. A lot of if not most duffel bags on the market can convert to a backpack, but I don ’ t know of any other duffles that can convert to a huge tote!? My other duffel bags I used when I travel to/from Alaska sit for the six months until I need them. I know this is gon na be used weekly when we go for quick overnight car camping on the flats or grocery trips in Canada and especially laundry. It's is higher quality than Osprey or The North Face duffles I own and more useful than both. There's a big mesh pocket inside the bag to separate smaller things. it ’s a very well thought out bag and looks pretty cool. I ’ ll be using this for years to come.

The way the bag converts from a backpack to wide mouthed storage tote is very handy. The way it opens up makes staying organized easier than a traditional duffel bag. So far I have a few 60- 80L Duffel from TNF and Patagonia and love those two. In comparison, this is not as thick as my TNF, but definitely thicker than Patagonia. 2nd, once a few items get tossed in, it's Free Standing!!! This bag is AWESOME! I travel a lot and have tried a variety of different styles and types of bags to use as my carry- on luggage and until now had not found one that was anything but just 'okay'. They were either too big or too small, hard to carry with my other luggage, lacked compartments I needed, etc. However this one is amazing! It's big enough to carry everything I need including my laptop, a change of clothes, some toiletries, my tablet and phone, and anything else I might want to take with me. Plus it has some many sections that I keep everything organized. And one of my favorite things about it is that it slides over the handle of my suitcase making it a breeze to carry with my other luggage. And aside from traveling, it's been the perfect bag to take for little day trips we take to the zoo, museum, fairs, and anywhere else my family and I like to go on a 'Family Day'. Plus it's beautiful, the material is soft and high quality, and it's easy to clean. There's only one thing and it's not really an issue, but more of a warning, and that's you have to pay attention and not put things in the one side pouch that is meant to slide over suitcase handles or you 'll end up with whatever you put in there falling right out. So overall I have to say this bag really is superb and definitely worth the cost. If you 're looking for the perfect large bag, get one of these and I promise you wo n't be disappointed!

Away Luggage sent me a Large Featherlight Tote in Amaro Brown for free in exchange for my honest feedback! Let's start with the size of this bag, I was pleasantly surprised that it was much larger than I anticipated. I could very easily fit at least a weeks worth of stuff in here and I am not a light packer by any means! This bag is high quality all around, all of the seams were done well, the straps are nice and thick, and the zippers all glided very smoothly; it feels like it will last a long time. I love that inside it has multiple different compartments and on the outside it also has the slip to sit on top of your luggage. I think this is a worthy investment piece, it should last you a long time and you wo n't have to worry about it falling apart. Even the texture of the outside of the bag is noteworthy, I spilled a little on it and it was very easy to wipe off without leaving a stain. Definitely better quality than most bags I have so I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a new travel bag!

The additional packing cube is awesome for shoes or dirty clothes. I use the 55L for fishing gear( waders, pack, boots all in one bag? heaven) and ski gear( fits boots, helmet, base layers, jacket, bibs) but love that I could easily use them for a weekend trip. I got this bag for weekend getaways but we used it for a week long trip with two people and it held everything perfectly. It took a second to figure out all the straps but it definitely makes a difference with the backpack straps when you load that much in it. I love that you have the option of a shoulder bag as well which is why I got this. I have a similar Northface bag that converts to a backpack but does n't have the option of the shoulder bag or snapping it down on the sides.

Ordered the tote the first day it was available. Was looking for the optimal tote for my suburb to big city commute. Have tried totes from others( Shinola, Mission Workshop, Filson). The Thule checked all of my boxes: lightweight, can use as a tote and on shoulder, dedicated padded laptop storage, waterproof, easy to access and just the right amount of organized storage. I only gave 4 stars for a few reasons:- I wish the straps were 1 inch shorter, as someone with long arms, I have to be mindful of not hitting stairs as I walk up them.- I wish the straps were a tiny bit thicker, they 're not uncomfortable but could be better when carry some weight in the bag( laptop, chargers, water).- Dedicated umbrella holder is not big enough for a compact commuter style umbrella which are generally 11- 12 inches when folded up. Not a big deal, I just keep my umbrella in the main compartment.

I just picked the 30L duffel up for upcoming international travel and a Grand Canyon rafting trip. After reading and watching so many reviews on adventure/travel duffels, these new Double Hauls have all the right standard features and then elevate above the competition with the 3 distinct modes. Having it in hand, these things are built like a tank, but are sleek enough for regular travel( if you don ’ t mind an outdoorsy vibe). I was a little worried that the 30L would be too small and didn ’ t want to jump all the way to a 55L. I despise checking luggage. Turns out you can fill this almost to the brim, then cinch down the interior luggage straps over your gear and compress the whole thing with the exterior side buckles. Amazing. The stiffeners really do work to keep the bag open/structured. The backpack straps are comfortable and stay out of the way when in tote mode. The tote carry handles are a good size and snap together well. Pockets are minimal, but a good size. And the storage bag/packing cube is a brilliant touch when attached inside the bag for more organization. The only thing I would improve so far are the tote carry handles. They ’ re uncomfortable on my shoulder. A traditional padded handle wrap would be an easy fix. And/or adding in a wide shoulder strap to attach to the duffel cinch buckles.

This bag is super versatile and durable. I use it as my diaper bag/purse/gym bag/carryall. It fits my skates, my daughters skates and all our winter gear. Can stay outside in the snow because it ’s waterproof which is perfect. Comfortable straps on your shoulder no matter which way you wear it and weight in bag. We recently brought it to the beach. It ’s refreshing not having sand stick to it while bring it inside. I can ’ t rave enough about how great this bag is!

I was a little skeptical at 1st when it came to the different `` modes '' but boy was I wrong. I thought the tote mode would be just gimmicky but its the mode that Ive used the most so far! I got the 30L and it is HUGE. It's easy to just throw anything inside the bag when you have it in tote mode and just go. Its nice when you 're not so worried about having it organized and just hauling stuff and leaving it in the car such as putting my ski gear inside. But when I took it on a flight, it packs as nicely when I started using packing cubes and carried it like a bag pack. I had 4 days worth of clothes and it still has an insane amount of space left( not sure if I 'm just a minimalist). Either way, I 'm gon na abuse this duffel. It's a go to now for any `` hauls ''. It's gon na compliment a smaller carryon bagpack.
