Great all- around shorts! I love the fabric of these — the nylon has a crisp( almost stiff at first, then softening over time) and substantial feel. These hold up to moderate abrasion better than drapey polyester shorts. They ’ re perfect for rock climbing. The wide leg opening and stretch makes them great for lifting or running too. I ’ ve even gone swimming in them( just note they are unlined). I love the 5 '' inseam, but I do wish the front rise and back rise were an inch higher. The embroidered logo is a nice touch.

The Vanish Woven shorts by UA are my go- to shorts for tennis, although I wear them very often casually as well. The six- inch inseam is a blessing as the longer shorts get stuck on my sweaty legs and, frankly, longer shorts look goofy on someone my age. I have been wearing UA shorts throughout the 2000's, but the Vanish Woven are the most comfortable by far. I can stick a ball in the pocket when serving or rallying, and they do n't feel different. They dry quickly on most days, and do n't droop with sweat on the most humid days. They also wash very well. I 'm glad to add a printed version to my collection. My oldest Vanish Woven is just a few months old. These are made very well( like my previous UA shorts-- some still in action for lawn work, etc.), so I have no doubts they will have great longevity.

I have 3 pairs of the interval shorts, and I really like those, but I ’ d put the tactical just a smidge higher. The waste band feels more solid and thicker, and the tactical shorts fit a little more snug than interval. Both are awesome, I use both for everyday wear. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 175, fairly fit, bigger legs and butt, and medium fits great. I mostly do CrossFit and some running, the shorts hold up great for both. Highly recommend!
