With the many types of sports underwear out there it ’s hard to find a tight snug fit that will keep things in place. I ’ m prone to hamstring pulls so I need the compression from shorts to keep muscles tight and warm. These definitely do the trick. Great style and breathability. It ’s got a camo style which is fine but mostly covered by shorts I would wear over them. Great fit and I ’ ll definitely get another pair since I workout a lot.

It ’s so hard to find longer bike shorts( for those of us with thick thighs) that have pockets, do not cause sausage leg, and don ’ t roll at the waist while still giving some tummy control. [ I really love the feel of these shorts. The fabric is fairly thick for running shorts, may get a bit warm in the summer, but work well for me. Helps to show less panty line too. They are definitely stretchy( I am 7 months pregnant in the photo), but still feel really durable. Not like lululemon that starts to pill so easy. The side pockets and adjustable draw string waist is a nice touch too.

The fit was a little snug for me, but I believe I could go up a size and that would work perfectly. I LOVE the pockets because they are large enough to hold a cell phone, snug enough to keep my cell phone in place without the worry of it falling out, and yes, I said pockets because there are two pockets!!!!!! Another thing I absolutely love is the `` hidden '' zippered pocket in the back. Some other shorts have these pockets in the front or on the side, which is not ideal in either location.

I ’ ve been using compression shorts for about 15 years now from UA to a number of other brands. I think this generation of UA compressions shorts are the best yet and my favorite compression shorts overall. The fit is good all around and it keeps the man parts supported while not choking the life out of ‘ em. I currently own 5 pairs. The pocket is a great addition and allows me to wear any combination of shorts over my compression shorts while keeping my phone secure, especially when I ’ m running. I have a 32 ” waist and I ’ m on the slimmer side, so I use size small for a good level of compression. I ’ m also 6 ’ 1 ” with longer legs, so I use the 9 ” inseam shorts, which leaves about 2 ” of space above my knee. I do prefer long compression shorts, so I even own a pair of the 9 ” tall size( “ SMT ”) which provides an additional 2 inches(= 11 ”). These run right to my knee and feel great. These are very hard to come by, though, and will most likely need to be found elsewhere.
