[ I used the original Wander Shorts for 500 miles of backpacking and I loved them. My only complaints were the waistband being uncomfortable under a hip belt and no liner made them ride up sometimes. These issues were fixed with this new version with the soft waistband and liner. I have n't worn them hiking yet but I have high hopes based on how my last shorts performed.
