Very comfortable and the fabric is very luxurious and doesn ’ t wrinkle. It is a heavier weight pant so good for cooler weather. The waist is a bit high for me but it ’s manageable. Easy to dress up or down with the seam down the leg. I will warn people that they do run long as it is the perfect length on me as someone who is 5 ’ 7- 5 ’ 8 and usually between regular and long lengths( got a R length). Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

Used to buy Fruit of Loom but they downsized to less quality material and very low quality elastics. Russel Athletics has very poor seam sewing. DSG is excellent quality, superb elastics and a tru fit. I weigh in at about 220 and 5' 7 '' and the XL fit perfectly. The inseam a bit long but mine is 29- I 'll live it with it all day long. I really like these trousers. I wanted a pair of hiking trousers that looked a little more stylish and can be worn in a multitude of scenarios. I have them in green, a pleasing military shade, and like the fact they are all a single block of colour unlike many two- tone hiking trousers( which I personally find a little uncool). Material is flexible facilitating easy and fluid movement and is durable but not heavy. The cut is straight, not baggy, a little more slim than most walking trousers. The elasticated hem is practical and aids with the slimmer line of the trouser. The 3 pockets are all zipped which is practical. The yellow logo on the back is cool. I would recommend and may also buy in the blue colour too.
