[ At first glance, I thought the pants looked too loose — especially for a slim fit. But once I put them on, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly comfortable they felt. The fit allows for full range of motion, and the leg bend is perfect. I ’ ve worn them in a variety of settings: to work, out to dinner, and even for a full round of golf. In every case, the movement was completely unrestricted. The pants didn ’ t ride up, and the waistband sits comfortably — snug without being tight. My only critique is the thigh area, which could be more tapered to better match the “ slim fit ” label. A slightly more streamlined cut would elevate the style without compromising comfort. That said, these are probably the most comfortable pants I ’ ve ever owned. The best way I can describe the feel is like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold day — just ridiculously cozy. I also appreciate the thoughtful details, like the perfectly spaced belt loops that work well with both sporty and dress belts, and the straight- leg finish that avoids the jogger look. If I could change one thing, I ’ d slim down the upper thigh area to give a more tapered, flattering fit. It would add to the aesthetic without sacrificing comfort or mobility. I ’ d also consider upgrading the zipper. While it functions well, it doesn ’ t have that premium feel that matches the rest of the garment. A higher- quality zipper would round out the overall experience.

I can pretty much do any activity in these as they are well fitted at the waist and have zero restrictions anywhere! These are extremely high- waisted; so if you have a short torso, these might not be for you as barely any of your midriff or the style of the waist band are showing. For me, I don ’ t like showing my midriff so I don ’ t mind how high they are. I love that the waist band is elastic but only worry about the future wears/washes that might cause it to lose its elasticity. We shall see. In addition, I love that I can style these up or down depending on the day ’s activities; I ’ ve worn them for a business casual look and as a sporty look! And the pockets! I love that these have relatively deep pockets to hold my stuff. This piece was the cherry on top!

[ These Nike pants are interesting to say the least. Typically when you think of Nike, you think of sports, athletics, workouts, etc. These pants tend to lean more on the casual side. More of an `` athleisure '' pair than a workout pair. The bottom( ankle) part flares out almost like a boot cut pair of jeans, almost covering my entire feet. This has proven to be cumbersome when doing any high intensity workouts. The highest level of activity I would recommend is power walking or just something to wear when running errands. The material is incredibly soft and super lightweight. The waistband is super comfortable and not restraining at all. The dimensions fit perfectly so I definitely recommend true to size unless you really want an over- sized or form- fitting look. The thing I love the most about these is the very minimal branding. The only logo is above the left pocket and you can barely notice it being that the pants are black and the logo is black. Overall, I recommend these if you are looking for a casual pair of pants but I do not recommend them if you are looking for a new pair of workout pants.

I like the way these pants fit with the taper. They can be dressed up for casual or be worn as activewear depending on what you wear with them. They are the only plain and simple jogger- style black pants I have found in women's sizing for officiating. They are n't baggy. They are tapered but without a cuff or notch so the bottom looks clean. They have regular front and back pockets with no extra seams or decoration. They have no belt loops and the waist tie can be inside and unseen. I 'm 5'6 and the length works for me because they are meant to be a little shorter so they are n't bunching at the bottom like some pants are for me. I bought 2 pair because it was so hard to find a basic pant like this. I hope they hold up after multiple washings, So far it has been fine. I wish they were a little cheaper or went on sale, but as much as I have worn them, I felt it was worth it.

Very well made slacks with soft 2. 5 inch elastic band that hugs my waist nicely. Surprised to find that the zipper is fake but with the elastic waist they slide down easily after undoing the clasps. The two clasps make the waistband lay nicely. The legs are roomy but not huge. The fabric is a bit stretchy and allow for bending and squatting with comfort. I usually wear an 8 and ordered a Medium. They were big and I believe a small would fit well. The attention to detail and finishing makes these slacks stunning enough to dress up but are comfortable and durable enough to do anything else in them.

I am a search and rescue volunteer and climbing wall instructor who spends my time in Arizona and Washington state. Working in a wide range of environmental conditions requires that my gear does the same. I ordered the large Basin pull on pants, using Mountain Hardware ’s sizing guide, and I found them to fit true to size. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Basin Pull- On Pant while climbing and hiking in the sun and the rain. The DWR finish repels water and worked well during light rain while climbing. I also found the fabric to be surprisingly rugged while remaining breathable. My favorite feature is the rear zip pocket. I never want to risk losing my phone while climbing and the zip pocket always keeps my phone secure when I am moving on the rock. While the elastic waist with the adjustable internal draw cord took some getting used to, I have found it to be comfortable while having great range of motion and mobility. The Basin Pull- On Pants are a great all- around pant for climbing, backpacking, or spending time outdoors in a variety of conditions.

I am a rock climbing guide who guides across Colorado and Utah and its important for me to have gear that works well, is durable and looks professional. These pants are great! The sizing, though was tough. I 've previously owned the MHW Cedarberg Pull On Pant in a Large. Those pants I could barely pull over my butt. They fit the waist already but had very little stretch to pull on. This time around, I got an XL in the Basin Pull On and they are a bit too big. They do n't fall off but without the drawstring tied they are quite loose. I have a 35 '' waist and a 33 '' inseam. I wonder how a Large would fit... I enjoy this pants for climbing in as they provide a ton of movement. They fit nicely under the harness with the elastic waistband but the drawstring is a bit annoying with a harness. I am typically not a fan of `` drop in '' pockets because larger/heavier things tend to `` drop out '' but there is a zippered rear pocket which provides security for not loosing things. The straight leg design is great for movement and makes these comfy but they are tad bit too wide for my liking. Anyone who is looking for a comfortable climbing pant would be happy with these but they have less utility in the multipitch world due to the lack of thigh pockets.

I 'm a indoor climbing coach and instructor and an avid outdoor climber as well in the New England area when im climbing outside I need my pants to leave me with the ability to move and those pants knock that out of the park. These pants are fantastic. They are extremely durable and resilient against rocks and dust. On top of that the DWR finish the does an awesome job of being water resistant on rainy days and very flexible on normal dry crag days. The security pocket is a fantastic addition to all the features that the pants have to offer because when you need to take your ID with you on climbs ypu know it will be safely zipped away and not as easy to lose in the end. These pants can handle any scenario for any type of person. Great addition to my climbing gear!

As a climber, I need my pants to stretch, not bunch up under a harness and be comfortable. The Basin Pull- On Pants tick all those boxes. I love not having to try and fit a belt on with my harness, I love the weight, stretchiness, and durability of the pants, and I love that I can wear these around my house as glorified sweat pants. These pants are almost perfect. My only critique of these wonderous pantaloons is that they do n't have a zipper. If I 'm going to be wearing a pair of pants under a harness all day, as I often do, then I want an easier way to `` relieve myself '' than awkwardly wiggling my waistband from under my harness. I love these pants so much I ’ m that I own 4 pairs. Only thing I wish was that the lengthen was slightly shorter. 32 for regular fit is slightly too long. Other wise than that they are awesome. I think these are the only pants I wear. There is a nice amount of stretch and it drys super fast.

I bought these a few weeks ago. The waist of my older pants slip when I 'm doing circuit training type works out and its so annoying to have to fix my pants all the time. With that, I went on the hunt for something that I hoped would stay in place and decided to give these a try. I remember at the beginning of my first workout with these telling myself to pay attention to if they were holding up. When the workout was over, I realized I did n't even think about it once an they had stayed up the whole time. I was very happy. Ordered a second pair!

I don ’ t usually wear petite but ordered these because the regular size was so long that I was tripping on them. The petite length is perfect and otherwise the size is spot on. The material is high quality, not see through. I appreciate these because I am not comfortable in the tight leggings that are currently popular. I have washed these two times and fit remains good.

[ Best pants in my closet! Really stretchy, great fit( I 'm 6'2, 214, and I got 38/34), great side pocket which even fits a phone, water repellency after two washes, extremely strain resistant( I got grease on my tan pants which washed right off), and rugged enough for hikes through brush. Could n't be happier- except for maybe a nice gray or mud brown color.

These pants are not only soft to the touch but extremely comfortable to wear. They hold there shape& color in the wash. They are also as durable as in the add. My spouse is 55 but plays like he ’s 5 and durability is key. Playing a last minute game of football after a casual lunch these pants were put to the test. Showing tricks on a skateboard no problem. [ I received the Columbia Men's ROC Tech Chino Pants free from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I got them in black and they are a very good quality pant. They are versatile in that they can be worn for business or casual. The fabric is lightweight and breathable and almost feels like they are water resistant. You do need to remove from the dryer and hang up quickly as they wrinkle easily. Very comfortable fit and feel like a pair of dressy khakis. Great for work as they are very comfortable but also great for a more formal event as they can also look dressy if paired with other garments. They are a win, win in appearance and you ca n't beat the fit as they are super soft and comfortable. You can move easily in them and they do n't feel stiff like jeans.
