We love Primary puffer jackets! We ’ ve had one in every size since she ’s been 9 months old. Very durable, and now that she ’s a toddler it ’s been through the wash so many times and still looks basically new. The only thing I ’ d note is that the sizing runs on the larger side compared to other brands. Our 2. 5 year old fits into 3T in a lot of clothes, but the 3T puffer was comically large! So just plan to buy way ahead of time!

[ I was n't too sure initially how much I 'd love this jacket, but honestly, I 'm sold! I was really impressed with how lightweight and breathable this jacket is. It doesn ’ t feel bulky at all, is easy to throw on over almost anything, and it still does a great job of cutting the wind. I even wore it in warm, pretty humid weather and was surprised that I didn ’ t feel overly hot or weighed down in it. If I had to be hyper critical, it did feel like it runs about one size too big. I compared my exact measurements against Northface's size chart, but it feels a bit large, boxy through the shoulders. I do n't mind this too much though as I 'm usually laying it over something. It moves easily and packs down really well, so it would be great for travel or throwing in a backpack when the weather might change. I think it ’s best for hiking, walking, travel, or everyday use when you want some wind protection without a heavy jacket. Overall, it ’s a really versatile layer that ’s easy to keep with you. [ I received the North Face Nuketo Synthetic Jacket for free in exchange for my honest review. This jacket is a great addition to any wardrobe, whether that wardrobe is geared towards urban living or the outdoor adventure lifestyle. I tested this jacket during the cooler evenings in Truckee whilst star gazing, and in over air conditioned, absolutely freezing, office meetings rooms. I thought the slightly more boxy/semi- cropped fit of the jacket was super cute and very flattering with a pair of jeans, but also looked great when I wore it with a casual pair of work pants. With that being said, I know cropped/boxy looks better on me because I have a long torso. The insulation was just enough for a 50° evening with a light sweatshirt layer underneath without feeling too tight or restrictive. It fit true to size- I went with an XS and that felt perfect for me. I definitely think this is a great shoulder season jacket based on the amount of insulation it has and the coverage. The jacket also moves really well and I would absolutely grab this and throw it in my shoulder bag or day bag if I needed some extra warmth. It ’s probably not the jacket I would reach for when backpacking because I prefer a hooded jacket and one that packs down a little smaller. Overall, it ’s a very comfy and cozy down jacket that I look forward to wearing more this fall.

Rainier and on a beach hike. The beach hike was warm because it ’s August! Once the sun went down it got chilly and my North Face came out! It was cute, comfortable and warm. The mountain hike was much colder but the jacket kept me warm without being too bulky. It allows for easy movement and has spacious pockets including an extra zipper chest pocket. Being summer, I wasn ’ t wearing an abundance of layers so the jacket was great, but it might not accommodate extra clothing underneath. I feel like it ran a tiny bit small for layering. The sleeves were a touch short on me as well. Consider sizing up if you have long arms or live in a cold climate and plan on lots of layers. However, if you ’ re just looking for a cute, stylish puffy to wear around town, it should be perfect as- is. There is a simple elastic band around the wrist, vs a cuff with a snap for gloves like some NF puffers have. Overall, love the look, comfort and warmth! It ’s going to make winter a little more fun!

It blocked enough of the wind to keep her temperature just right, and it was water- repellent when she encountered some melting snow. [ The Nike Swift Women's Repel Packable Running Jacket comes out of the package sleek and ready to go. The sleeves are roomy enough to slide on without fighting a watch band and fall just past my wrists. A comfortable elastic sits around your wrist and does a pretty good job of keeping the sleeves in place while not feeling tight. The fabric of this jacket is soft to the touch and extremely light, providing a comfortable wearing experience that does n't weigh you down. Even though the fabric feels delicate, it proved itself perfectly balanced-- able to keep me comfortable in the winter chill at the start of my workout and manage to not leave me overheated at the end. The jacket fit like a glove, yet I still felt like I had plenty of room to move without anything riding up or feeling too tight. There was enough room to be able to wear anything from long sleeve to just a sports bra without issue. The hem is asymmetrical, going from shorter in the front to a slightly longer back hem line. I loved this because it still allowed use of a running belt while keeping my lower back more comfortably covered. And did I mention the hood? Light, but providing full coverage so this jacket can demonstrate the full force of its water repellant ability. The hood was my favorite feature. I feel like hoods often do n't cover enough or stay on well enough as you move. This one had no issues with that. Oh, and the front pockets zip, so you do n't have to worry about anything flying out while you 're moving. There's a lot to love in this jacket, and it even includes a whistle tucked into the lapel that you can use when you 're running alone or need to call out to your running buddy. I do n't have any complaints, but if I had to change one thing, I would lengthen the sleeves and add thumb holes. I did feel like the elastic kept the sleeves down pretty well, but thumb holes are just that extra security I love when I run. Overall, this jacket fit great, looked excellent, felt comfortable, and kept me covered and at an ideal temperature from the start of my run to the end.

I have been on the hunt for a longer raincoat that covers my rear. I have a `` regular '' length Columbia raincoat that I love. This one is great and will be in heavy rotation. I got the Greenscape color. I am 5'5 '' and wear a women's 16. I got an XXL to be able to wear a sweatshirt or sweater under it. It is generously sized. I might have been able to go XL. I knocked a star off for 2 things that others have raised here. The hood is pretty much useless as it either falls in your eyes or flops backwards. Point 2 is that in my other Columbia rain jacket you can tighten the cuffs with a strap to stop water or wind from blowing up your sleeve. The Weekend Adventure has one snap that tightens the cuff by about an inch. That is not going to keep water or wind out.
