I also love the inside sleeves that fit over my thumbs. They fit great under my mittens and provided extra warmth. I found my usual size a bit small, but the next size up fit perfectly. I ’ m not sure if it ’s completely waterproof, but it ’s at least water resistant. If you want a warm, nice looking, comfortable ski jacket, I would highly recommend it!

I really like the fit and contour of these bibs. I was looking for a burly 3L pant that is roomy enough for proper cold weather layering.( I ski at Whitefish, MT. often, so.....). These check that box nicely without being too baggy. For reference, I 'm 6'- 3 '', 210 lbs., 35 '' waist, 34 '' inseam in most pants. Purchased size Large. Lengthwise, these ride just right with my ski boots on.( Even though the size chart says 32. 9 inseam). The 3 layer `` AdvancedSkin Dry+ '' fabric is bomber, weatherproof and resembles 3L Gore Tex. I love the Turtle Dove color as it is a creamy/vanilla shade that pairs well with any snow pant color. Amazing features- snow skirt, thumb cut outs, water proof and wind proof, zippers up to my chin, well insulated, and, multiple pockets. This jacket is one of the best quality ski jackets on the market now. I would say it's comparable to Helly Hansen's Alphelia jacket in terms of fit and features but for a lower price point. It even has a similar fit to the Arc'teryx jackets if you cinch the waistline in and tuck it. You can get away with wearing no layers underneath this jacket in 30F weather. I 've already gotten many compliments and will be wearing this to back to back ski trips in Vermont and Colorado! I agree with other reviews that a snow helmet can not fit underneath the hood, but that is NOT a con for me as wearing a hood while skiing usually obstructs my view anyway.

I got this top a month ago I 've worn it running many times in temps between 35 and 50 with a silk weight tee shirt or base layer. The fit is great and it's surprisingly warm for it's very light weight. I 'm 6' tall and weigh 180, large fits me perfectly. I find the neck when zipped all the way up to be slightly tight, not enough to really bother me but in a perfect world I 'd add a 1/2 '' to it.

I have used it for hiking in the high country in the shoulder seasons when it is cold to cool in the AM. It is amazing how warm it keeps you when active. It is not a heavy warm layer if sitting out in the cold but it is perfect for my uses! I need to buy another one!!

This is a beautiful and well designed layer, but I can not handle the chest zip pocket.( other athletic brands have been putting these on everything this year too). Love the side zip pockets for hands or items one needs to carry, the fabric is stretchy and really nice. Great length, it can stretch to cover you bum or sit higher and still look great. well designed as usually Salomon! I have no doubt it would perform fantastically. I still gave it 5 stars, even though I returned it, I must be alone in hating the chest pockets.
