I live in wool tank tops year- round. It is extremely rare that I am not wearing one, even if it is as a first layer during colder months. In this style( no matter what brand), you almost always need to SIZE DOWN one size; and some people may even go down two sizes. Ordinarily, I do not even like the `` muscle '' tee/tank style, but this one has a perfect feminine cut, while still embodying the strong, confident vibe many of us appreciate. For reference, I wear a medium in the Siren tank, and a small in the 125 Cool- Lite Sphere III tank. In most Icebreaker pieces, whether top or bottom, I generally prefer size medium, but every now and then I like a large( for instance, in some full- length leggings). I already have stacks of the Siren tanks, and now I have a growing stack of these as well; both are year- round daily staples I will not live without. While it is true that not every one of these tanks is consistently assembled and/or symmetrically proportioned, for most brands, I am long accustomed to ordering multiple units and returning those that do not fit perfectly. Yes, it is a hassle, but I am used to it, and this tank is SO worth it. Icebreaker, if you are reading this, please do NOT change a thing about the size small in this style( except for general quality control and manufacturing consistency). I have a long torso, long arms, and the dimensions are absolutely perfect for me. This tank is SO soft, tremendously comfortable, and incomparably feather- light. It feels like wearing nothing. As with many Icebreaker pieces, this garment dramatically decreases stress on a daily basis, and instantly became an indispensable element of my minimalist wardrobe. Thank you!

This is my third Icebreaker t- shirt. I 'm a runner and these shirts are perfect for warm weather running. Besides the obvious benefits of wool, like no odor( allows several runs before washing), and excellent sweat wicking, but they are also soft. If you 're a man and wear the typical polyester tech shirt, you are prone to nipple chafing from a polyester shirt on long, warm weather runs. Even mitigation actions like lubricants on the nipple do not fully work. But wool is so soft, I 've never chafed a nipple since wearing them. These are my preferred running shirts. And... I love the `` molten '' color.

This is the softest shirt I have ever owned. Secondary use as pajamas around the house. I live in FL where the heat is brutal and this shirt magically cools you with the lightest breeze out on the water and does not stick to your skin when sweaty. Love the thumb and middle finger holes too for additional sun protection. Please make more colors so I can own all of them. Tight lines!

I 've had over a dozen different sun hoodies since they became popular. For Me, this is the best one overall by a wide margin. While some may feel more 'woven', and others more 'plasticy', this one seems to be the best of both worlds providing comfort and protection. It is very soft to the skin, and the material sort of 'hangs' on you without feeling 'clingy'. It has plenty of stretch, but does n't feel like a set of drapes. So far the shirt seems to be retaining it's shape /size perfectly. Interesting enough, I wore it under a hoodie on a cool damp morning... casting really hard, I got too hot for the hoodie, but was reluctant to take it off. Finally I did due to sweating and was very surprised at how well this shirt regulated my body heat. The sweat evaporated quickly, and the shirt provided a nice light layer of protection from the cool damp air and light south wind. Once the sun came out the shirt really shined. Sleeves are plenty long, and the wrist/ hand coverings are a nice touch in case you forgot sun gloves. The hood is fitted nicely, proving excellent coverage while not being obtrusive. I chose the 'Neptune' color and I like that it is understated and does n't scream 'SUNSHIRT!!! If I had to nit- pick one thing, the closure button of the hoodie is a little challenging to snap closed with old worn- out fingers due the material being so soft and light.. but that's really minor. I highly recommend this shirt if You are on the fence, You wo n't be disappointed. I do n't usually do reviews much, but his one was definitely worth a follow up. Good job Simms
