The fabric is a little thicker and coarser than I expected, but I think it will soften up in the wash as I have other Faherty linen items that did the same. The fit is slightly oversized, and I love that for throwing over a tank with shorts. I only got the linen top, but I think I will have to get the matching shorts as well. I got a size small, I am 5' 4 '', 125lbs.
