I 've been getting these baselayers for my boys since they were babies. They are warm, soft and have lasted through both of them. I 'm even able to confidently pass them on to friends with kids knowing they still have lots of life left. My kids are tough in their clothes and these hold up. We use them at least 4 times a week. [ I bought this shirt a month ago and have worn it often. It is right in between a shirt and a jacket. Exactly the weight I was looking for. It is soft but has some of the toughness that a jacket would have so I think it will put up with a lot of outdoor use.
