South Carolina experienced extreme cold weather this winter, but while wearing my 4. 0 crewneck, the cold weather did not phase me not one bit. I see why the athletes opt for this gear during cold weather games.

Bought these specifically to wear while skiing in the Rockies in Colorado in January. They were soft and comfortable enough to wear around the base of the mountain when not skiing, and they kept me warm when was doing down the slopes. Have no complaints about this shirt. It was perfect

I bought this for my teen to use as a base layer for skiing and sledding. It kept him dry and warm and fit him well. I bought a duofold base later too too and liked the duo fold a little better as far as stitch quality and material quality and the duofold material seemed a little thicker but I ’ m keeping this one too.

Got this for my daughter, she is a teacher. Her room is cold and then she has bus duty periodically. So the 4. 0 is perfect for being somewhat sedentary. Surprisingly, actually keeps her warm! She is a chilly person normally, so cold temps are miserable for her. We 've tried many products. The Under Armour is work the investment!

The fit is loose but not so lose that I would exchange for a smaller size. The shirt is warm but not too warm when inside. Outside it keeps me toasty at 30 degrees and I ’ m always complaining of being cold. All in all, I ’ m very happy with this purchase.

I recently purchased the Under Armour Base 4. 0 Crew, and it's exceeded expectations. This top delivers comfort, warmth, and performance.

Definitely worth having extra battery banks if you ’ re skiing all day or anything like that, also could use an extra hole in the battery pouch so you can route the cable to a pant pocket more

You don ’ t realize how much you need a heated base layer until you have one! It ’s been such a benefit to various aspects of my life. I wear it beneath my layers when spending time outdoors during winter in Wisconsin. But I ’ ve also worn it to work( in an office) during especially cold days. It fits true to size and is comfy. Somehow it seems to trap heat inside yet it ’s also breathable, I don ’ t sweat in it like I have with other base layers.

The Base Layer Shirt takes the bite out of any cold day! And the battery last for hours! Washed it in a cold wash then hung it to dry, easy peesey! Definitely worth it!

I bought the base layer for my son who works at Disneyland in Anaheim Ca. and he loves it. Keeps hos 3X body warm when working nights. Great product

Definitely worth having extra battery banks if you ’ re skiing all day or anything like that, also could use an extra hole in the battery pouch so you can route the cable to a pant pocket more easily. Besides that, it definitely lasts through the wash and multiple winters

Reviewing this from the POV of an end user& tech fabric geek. Love the materials of the MH AirMesh. Already have the hoody; just bought the crew. Agree w/ those who say it's very warm when at standstill or w/ a wind layer over top, yet while moving or with wind and no wind layer it's like being naked. To me that says the fabric is functioning precisely how a base layer shoulder. Only con is hypothetical: delicate fabric. I 've had no issues with snags, pilling, abrasion, etc. But I would n't be surprised were I to, given the softness of the fibers and the openness of the fabric they 're arranged into. Cut/fit are unremarkable w/ exception of the somewhat high neck hole and the different accent fabric used there. Packs tiny, resilient fibers bounce back into shape immediately. Most comparable to the Patagonia Cap Air wool base layer, minus the itchiness/roughness and the ultra premium price point. Also, like Polartec Power Stretch pro, but much lighter and more airy fabric, fwiw.

I recently purchased a red version of the AirMesh. I find it incredibly warm for its weight. Packs down to nothing which is very helpful.

[ My daughter bought me this shirt last year for my 90th birthday. In hot weather or cool temps it seems to trap the air and is the perfect shirt. I have gotten 3 more in sundry colors for myself, one for my wife, and a crew neck airmesh for my adult son.

In the first image, it is very light and breathable, but the fibers inside seem to be easily lost, and there are some fibers in the hand after a little scratch. I am 167cm tall and my bust is 98cm, so I wear a size M which is very comfortable. I bought 2 at the same time, for me it should be good for sweating a lot without losing warmth. I tried wearing it the other way around and it was a different feeling, like a normal sweatshirt. A very special piece of clothing, worth trying. When washing, do n't turn it around, it's better to put it in a laundry bag

Love this shirt. Wear it all the time and have already ordered another one- so comfortable. If they eventually make a short sleeved version I 'll buy that, too. It's a great base layer and good for cool/cold weather chillin'. Be aware that there is zero wind blocking- it's a mesh fabric- you must have a shell if you 're hiking/skiing/walking to mailbox. That said- I 've hiked in 15- 20F with wind and just this base and a heavy shell no problem. Note: It's very `` roomy ''. Great for me, but if you 're a bean pole you may be swimming in it- think about that when selecting sizes.
