At the same time, I have worn it as an effective base layer for cooler temps, which can still arise suddenly in Colorado springs. The slightly gathered fabric effect offers forgiveness for some of my own belly and arm ripples. I will agree the fit is a tiny bit off, but the look is fantastic. I bought all three after day one in the blue shirt. The only real complaint I ’ ll have with it is how insanely wrinkled up they get in the wash. It ’s long iron job to bring it back to life. But, 🤷♂️. Big deal.

I 'm well aligned with a small in the size chart( and typically am a small in shirts), but it's really really big on me in real life- even through the shoulders. These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

Love love love this shirt. It's lightweight and great for summer or as a baselayer in fall/spring. Unlike most shirts that hit on my upper hip/waist, this one falls at mid- hip, making it flattering and letting me raise my arms without showing skin.
