Very well made slacks with soft 2. 5 inch elastic band that hugs my waist nicely. Surprised to find that the zipper is fake but with the elastic waist they slide down easily after undoing the clasps. The two clasps make the waistband lay nicely. The legs are roomy but not huge. The fabric is a bit stretchy and allow for bending and squatting with comfort. I usually wear an 8 and ordered a Medium. They were big and I believe a small would fit well. The attention to detail and finishing makes these slacks stunning enough to dress up but are comfortable and durable enough to do anything else in them.

Another great Railay style. Purchased in medium in black and willow. I thought the willow color would be more khaki/taupe but it was kind of a lavendar- pink in person. I was worried they would be a slim 22 since I ’ m on the upper end of my weight range& this being an outdoor brand, but they fit and look so good!! Plus they are way more comfortable than I expected. They are still very durable. Great fit and very comfortable. Should be noted that these are sized a little differently, They are a whole size smaller than my Halle Pants from previous seasons, but both my size 18 and size 20 fit exactly the same! Minor issue, the pants themselves go from hiking to office casual with ease. I will never stop buying these so long as they fit me.;)

For context I am 5 ’ 3 ” 130 lbs with a small waist but a large bum. I ’ m a typical size SMALL in most all brands for both tops and bottoms. I originally purchased the size small and was dismayed at how large they were on me! But the length was perfect. I think ever since Mountain Hardwear was purchased by Columbia?, the sizing has become inconsistent. Luckily it seems that the quality of material is still there. I then purchased the XS. The fit seemed like it would be tight, but once I pulled it over my bum, fits comfortable and snug- however- the length is noticeably shorter- almost like “ petite ” sizing, which is disappointing. I will keep this pair though, as I mentioned, they are still good quality pants for winter!

Love theses pants. All purpose. I wear them at work as an ICU Physician, traveling, hiking and for lounging. They wash easy and dry fast. They have just enough stretch to be comfortable but not too much to become baggy or fall off. Have them in several colors and highly recommend!

Longtime user of the Halle Straight Pant( in almost every color made)... its durability, reliability, hydrophobic, quick dry features have NEVER let me down. Figured I 'd give the Halle AT( all terrain) pant a try- ordered before an adventure trip to Santa Cruz( redwoods, and hiking, and ocean water; oh my!) and exclaimed out- loud how comfortable the AT pants are! Just the right amount of fabric reinforcement for a more physical hike, or casual fall/winter wear. Now I have another product to collect in all colors...

I LOVE these pants. I have a curvy build with a smaller waist and full butt/thighs and it ’s incredibly hard to find pants that fit well. Got these in a medium( I ’ m 5 ’ 8 ”, 165lb), and the fit is wonderful. They don ’ t look too baggy, but I still have great mobility( if you have the problem of big thighs, you know tight pants make squatting and floor- sitting difficult). If I could change one thing, I would make them and inch or two longer, but I just wear them with sandals or flats( yes, I pull them off as business casual at work).
