I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. Love the fit, love the material, and I 'd throw even more money your way with these small updates. Thanks for considering it — I think the brand is highly competitive in this crowded space and is well- positioned to take another step forward.

[ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!
