This winter plaid button up is fantastic. It looks like a traditional plaid, but it's so much better. The fabric is beyond soft and is very comfortable. The tag says that it is moisture wicking and even though I have n't sweat in it, it does dry quickly when I wash it. The fabric does have some stretch to it so that makes it even more comfortable if you are an active person and always on the move. The shirt also has UV protection, which is a pretty good feature even though it's winter it is good to have UV protection. The tag on the shirt also said the fabric is anti- odor and so far I have not noticed any odors. My only wish is that they made more color options of this shirt. Shirt does not wrinkle and has held up great after multiple washes.

Excellent for winter to cut the wind and retain heat. Had multiple deer come within 30 yds and jacket noise did not alert them. Used as a top layer with layering( and heated vest, socks, and gloves all on lowest setting) during a 12( F) degree morning, never got cold and didn ’ t feel the wind. It does not have pockets, which helps with retaining heat and one less thing to leak down the road, but I use a small pack to carry in. I do suggest breaking it in a bit. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.
