The shirt is very thin, therefore I thought I may be cold and need a jacket in cold weather, but it amazingly held my body heat in perfectly without making me hot. I would not change a thing about it. I am normally a medium but got this in a large since I thought I might layer underneath it, but it does not run large. A medium would have been fine. These are my favorite high- waisted shorts ever. I have 7 pairs. These are my everyday shorts, gym shorts, walking shorts, house shorts, errand shorts, etc. They fit perfect on my waist and have enough coverage that they are comfortable for exercising. I am usually a medium but sized these up to large so they would cover more and not ride up and show butt cheeks( medium did this to me). I would consider sizing up if you want more coverage.
