I think this runs true to size, I ordered long torso. The breast support is oddly low. The seam is way past were the ladies lay and mine have nursed 2 babies and hang low. I got the stripped suit and it does not appear see through( however I have n't gotten it wet yet) the stripes do n't line up on the seams which seems to be a quality concern. Honestly, I was n't hopeful because I had never seen any swimsuits there. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide range of options for my daughter to choose from. The color is just as vibrant as it was the first wear. It is the perfect thickness, really good quality fabric that has not pilled up at all. The fit is really good. For modesty, you may want swim shorts as there isnt much coverage around the bottom, but thats most swim suits. My kiddo picked this one out and it is her favorite swimsuit. I wash it every time we swim, which is several times per week, and it has held up very well.

This is my first real `` swimming '' suit. I have always worn tankinis, but they have been getting trashed by twice- a- week lap swimming. I never would have thought that I would buy and wear a one piece swimsuit as a 55 yr old woman--- far too revealing. However, I really like this swimsuit! It will feel very snug, but it has held up quite well to the chlorine and wringing out. I 've been using it twice a week for several months, and it appears almost new. You MUST order two sizes up. So, if you are normally an 8, you need to buy a 12. And it will still feel very snug. I like how the legs are n't too high, and the lycra does n't give out( sag) in the behind. Color still looks good, not faded. A very solid swimmer's suit.
