I also like that they can be worn as shorts or swim trunks. It makes it nice for days that he might be going swimming but also might not. They have a back pocket. There is a tie in the front but that does not tighten the shorts at all and looks more for looks. They waist is n't very elastic either.

[ I love having these UPF shirts when the summer time comes for my kids. My boys and my daughter use them when they are swimming, are at tennis camp, or at sailing camp. I like that they provide sun protection and I do not have to worry as much about their skin.( I still put sunscreen on them) The fabric is so lightweight, it dries quickly. I will be purchasing more of these! I wash these on delicate and let them air dry as to keep them looking their best.

The waist fit is mostly TTS with some room unlike usual jean shorts- I ’ m usually a 27- 28 and got a 27 and have some room, but they aren ’ t about to fall down or anything.
