These tights are perfect for my 13 year old son. They are very snug and hold their shape well. My only complaint is that they cause underwear to shift around and ride up. This was an easy fix however. My son tried a jockstrap with the tights to get the extra support without his briefs. The straps get jerked around and makes him uncomfortable. He now wears a mens thong that holds up in the front and is nice and tucked away in back.

With the many types of sports underwear out there it ’s hard to find a tight snug fit that will keep things in place. I ’ m prone to hamstring pulls so I need the compression from shorts to keep muscles tight and warm. These definitely do the trick. Great style and breathability. The shorts might run a little small. I tend to wear the L pants but got the XL shorts and they work well for me. I like the internal liner, but still wear by boxer briefs with them. I really need to try them without the boxes and see how they work. The pockets are a good size, but anything in them will swing as you run or walk fast. the draw string come in handy to tie the shorts off and hold them up.

Nice simple shorts. Very versatile and the zipper pockets, which I feel are a must at this price point make for secure storage. Material seems similar in feel to the tech fleece line but for a cheaper price. The material is also cooler than tech fleece. I find these can be worn in temperatures above 80 degrees. Note the 7inch inseam, I ’ m am 6ft and the medium fit well but could feel a short compared to the regular tech fleece shorts
