I 've owned many pairs of the original Stretch Zion shorts and now have moved to the new version. The new Stretch Zion II is has a few changes, but in my opinion, they are still a great pair of shorts. The minor changes like the plastic button and the new fabric still work fine and did n't bother me. Going to the plastic button from the metal one only took a few times of wearing them to get easier to button. The new fabric is still super soft and comfortable but has a sort of shine to it when the light hits them just right. Not a big deal for me. The things that make these my favorite shorts are the comfortable fabric, the adjustable waist band, the color options, and the different pockets. They are also very versatile, I can wear them for activities like hiking and also to a nice restaurant. I own multiple pairs because I wear them all summer.

[ I received the Nike Sportswear Classic Wovens Women's Mid- Rise Shorts in teal and the color does not disappoint, it is vibrant! What I immediately liked about these shorts is that they are lightweight and unlined( perfect for running in the summer when temperatures are high and I sweat more, despite being made of polyester). The inseam length is moderate, which I find more flattering than a short inseam. I am size 26 waist and got the size small, they fit true to size. The one complaint I have is there is no zippered pocket to hold a key or fob while running, that would have made these perfect. I am still giving them five stars because overall these shorts are comfortable, versatile, and flattering.

My last favorites were Columbia( from 4- 5 years ago), which I had to `` retire '' this year... they 've seen a lot of wear, and have held up great! I have shorts that fit me well from size 4- 8, just depends on the style. I tried size 6 in the 5 '' inseam, but the waist was a little snug, so I returned for size 8, which fit perfectly. I still have room in the hips, but they fit nicely and give me some shape. And my legs do n't look like sticks hanging out of a barrel!;) This fabric has a nice, silky feel to it.
