So, many polos have collars with the same fabric as the rest of the shirt and nothing built in to retain their form. They 'll wrinkle up after a few washings, and if they survive past that point wo n't last much beyond a year. The really good polos have collars made of material meant to hold their shape like this one. Next, too many polos are n't tapered for the human body. I ’ m not sure what aspect makes it “ trail worthy ” however I ’ m confident if it involves running it ’s more than merely adequate. I got a large which is just a bit big on me, but I often run somewhere between medium and large so it ’s no big deal. The big two factors are checked with this shirt: non chafing and sweat wicking. I ’ ve been wearing this every time I drive to my elderly mother ’s house( 4 hours away). This summer has been disgustingly hot, but the white color helps deflect the sun and I don ’ t have to slather my entire upper body in sunscreen when I wear it. I can also stick my thumbs in the thumb holes and cover most of my hands. It does get sweaty if I wear it outside in the heat for a while, but as a very pale person, I love being able to just slip something on and get instant sun protection. So far it ’s been washing well and it dries quickly. Definitely planning to pick up abother one at some point. Love this piece so far. I 'm 6' 4 '', 250lbs and the XL fits me great. I typically need to order XLT shirts but this is sized well for me. Sleeves are good length but would n't have minded another inch. Thumb holes would have been nice. I have to maneuver a little to get it over my chest( 46 inch) but it's not a problem, just noticeable. The material has a nice stretch to it. Might have a shirt on underneath or nothing under depending on temperature and wind. Love the hood fit with or without a hat. Zipped up the hood stays on well. Zippers work well. I 've washed it several times now and the material and color still look new. Washing on delicate and hang dry. I like it so much I might get another.

I ’ ve only owned a couple of these for a month or so, but I think I ’ ve found the perfect summer shirt. Stylish, versatile, comfortable, and wrinkle- resistant. I wore it for a beach day this past weekend when I wasn ’ t on the water, am thinking of how I can dress it up for a casual summer wedding next month, and won ’ t leave on any summer trips/vacations without them. I usually like a slimmer fit, but this is a perfect relaxed fit. I ’ m not swimming in the material, but it ’s also very airy and comfortable, and just fitted enough to look really nice. I can ’ t thank Fjallraven enough for carrying size xs in men ’s!! If I had to pick a gripe with the shirt it ’s that it doesn ’ t have 100% full mobility when completely lifting your arms out and above your head, but I also know that ’s not what this shirt is intended for. Terrific product and a fair price for how exceptional it is.
