I wear polos almost every day for all occasions, and my wife is an award- winning designer and seamstress, so I 've learned a little about what makes a good polo. Let's start with the collar. So, many polos have collars with the same fabric as the rest of the shirt and nothing built in to retain their form. They 'll wrinkle up after a few washings, and if they survive past that point wo n't last much beyond a year. The really good polos have collars made of material meant to hold their shape like this one. Next, too many polos are n't tapered for the human body. They hang like they were made for a box and not the human body. This polo is tapered to fit. Similarly, you want a shirt with sleeves that begin at the top of the shoulder. You do n't want a medium shirt with shoulders for an extra- large that come halfway down your biceps or visa- versa. This polo transitions at the top of the shoulders, as it should. Finally, this shirt has a raised pattern weave that is quite elegant. Subtile enough to wear out on the course. Classy enough to wear to work, an event, or date night.

I ’ m not sure what aspect makes it “ trail worthy ” however I ’ m confident if it involves running it ’s more than merely adequate. I got a large which is just a bit big on me, but I often run somewhere between medium and large so it ’s no big deal. The big two factors are checked with this shirt: non chafing and sweat wicking. Unfortunately it ’s winter here, which makes for mostly treadmill runs. I can say I ’ m excited to see what this can do out in the wild.

Just the right amount of compression and this incredible OG Compression material keeps you cool in the extreme warm temps and warm in cooler temps. I would recommend incorporating this OG material to leggings as well. Iso Chill works well but appears has been discontinued. This would be a great substitute.
